mannyvig
This project has been a great motivation for our new E30 project. I do think leaving the awd trans and the ridiculous downpipe is a bit much. Check out that guys Exige too.
Floorless240z
that's my buddy christian. should be up and out pretty soon. edit: and he is DEF not staying awd. lol or do you just mean instead of going rb25 trans

Administrators BRAAP Posted August 7, 2009 Administrators Share Posted August 7, 2009 That is SAH-WEET! With how well the BMW inline 6 cylinder engines respond to boost, I'm surprised to see the RB in there, none the less, very cool with lots of wow factor! I like that color combo. We did a test fit of our RB25 tranny in the E30 tunnel and it actually seemed to be ok. It will need massaging but we did not have tu chop up the floor. turbojohnny
yeah I've been following this build on the nyspeed forum, no expense spared at all!
jdizzy204
Ya I know it is not awd but why use that huge heavy trans when he could have used a rb25 trans. We did a test fit of our RB25 tranny in the E30 tunnel and it actually seemed to be ok. It will need massaging but we did not have tu chop up the floor. he used what he had man. since he already had a awd tranny and the capabilities to make it rwd, he did so instead of shelling out another 1k for a 25 trans.
