jacob80
Hello, Does anyone else find it extremely difficult to use the timing marks to time your motor/sync your megasquirt? I have a front mount intercooler and it is damn near impossible. Very hard to see where the timing marks on the pulley are in relation to the timing marks on the block
roger.svoboda
clean everything up and then use yellow or white paint to fill the grooves. You can see everything good after that.
FlatBlack
I put some white out on mine, I got the white out with the V-sponge on the end so it would go on easier in that tight space, it's really easy to see now.
jacob80
Right but I can't seem to squeeze my head between the fender and the intercooler pipes so the angle I'm looking at the timing tab and the marks on the pulley are not as accurate as if I am looking at it straight on, you get what I'm saying? roger.svoboda
well when you start adding things to the engine bay you might take that into your planning for the installation.
hughdogz
That's called parallax error How about using a mirror on a stick? Anything mounted on a stick is a winner Right but I can't seem to squeeze my head between the fender and the intercooler pipes so the angle I'm looking at the timing tab and the marks on the pulley are not as accurate as if I am looking at it straight on, you get what I'm saying?
