So do you have any final pics for all those looking to get one later. I have had 5 people asking me about that 200zr pan I had and I directed them to come on here and check out your work.

I'll get some pics in a few. I scratched the paint and I wanted to repaint it. Just wanting for the paint to dry.

Hey Pat the pan fit great and the pickup was dead on but I just realize something. My block does not have the spot to put the oil pick up in the back. Any suggestion anyone.

Do you mean the pick up brace? You don't have a 8mm hole in you main cap.

Sorry about that my brain was on lock up on that one. I meant to say that I do not have a spot for the dip stick. I seen on some blocks they have a plug on the rear part of the block. Mine does not have that. So any suggestion on how to get a dip stick/

Are you sure there is no hole that is plugged up? Both of my rb's had them. it should be on the intake side. How are the guys doing it with the rb20 pans on the rb26 blocks. If I would of know it I would of put a dipstick holder on the side of the pan. The worst case just send it back and I'll put a dipstick on the side of the pan. Don't worry I'll take care of you. As my dad use to say there is more than one way to skin a cat lol:mrgreen:

Yeah that is what I thought too. But this engine is out of a 98 Stagea so there is no plug on it. I was like dam. I see the spot where it was suppose to be but it is solid. I will ship it back tomorrow I guess.

Hey can you make a steel braided power steering hose. I have the 300zx Z32 and my power steering was on the passenger side. So now I need to get it on the drivers side. Someone said I could bend the current hose to make it work or get a steel braided one made. I rather just do it right and get it over with. lol

I don't have the tools to do a powersteering hose sorry. That's wierd about the dipstick hole. Are you sure it is solid ? There isn't a steel plug in the hole. Have you tried to use a punch to get it out. I can't see nissan making different blocks for different cars. Can you drill out the hole?

Yeah there is not much room there to work with. Dam Nissan why they just cant make everything the same way. Well so far I have broke two bits today. I guess I need something stronger. I will keep going at it. I was wondering would putting the dip stick in the pan cause any drop in oil pressure.

Get some nice Carbide drill bits and work in steps from small to big. The key to drilling metal is going very slow and taking your time.
