getoffmyinternet
Can't blame a guy for wanting to get his reputation up. RB33! I like the idea of dual turbos, but that's pretty much the only thing I like about them. :/
linluv84
The motor showed up. It looks pretty good for a junkyard motor. I will be calling them in the morning to find out where my MAF is. I will post compression numbers and pics of the bottom end soon...
linluv84
Compression test came out to 150psi on all 6. A little lower than I expected, but dead even. Evidently, they charge extra for a MAF with their motor sets. At this point, what's $45 to straighten out the issue?

There are other Nissan US spec cars you can get it from that are bigger.
getoffmyinternet
Q45. Isn't the wiring different though? I was worried the stock ecu wouldn't be compatible with different mafs.

It has less resolution than the Z32 300zx. It has a larger housing but it will not support as much horse power. The Ford Lightning MAF is the one you want for high horsepower, around 650 as compared to 500 with the 300zx Z32 MAF.
getoffmyinternet
So the ford maf is a direct replacement? Seems like by that time you'd be going standalone anyway though.
Coolwhip
the ford MAF isn't a direct replacement. Just like the N62 labled Z32 MAF you must tune for the difference.
