JMortensen
Looks like you've set a 5 lug rim under the fender just to take a picture. Any idea what size rim you'll actually run? I've got the same flares, thinking 15x14 with 5" backspace.

I've got the same flares, thinking 15x14 with 5" backspace. just trying to get an idea on spacing & size. to be honest I'm not sure what I'm gonna be running as far as tires go yet. I've got about 15" deep and 27" inch up to work with. Probably a 26x12 street slick on a 12" wide rim for the rear. Up front I was thinking a 10" wide with a 225/50 stretched on it. Lemme know what you use if you get it done before me. I gotta figure it out also!
JMortensen
I'm pretty sure that is going to be it for me. 15x14 with 5" backspacing and a 15x12 on the front, probably with 4.5 or 5" backspace also. I have to figure out flares in the front, I wanted something a bit different than the kit offered so it looks like I'll be making and/or modifying a flare to do what I want. I'll be running Hoosier slicks in a 15x13 rear and 15x12 front. Edited June 22, 2010 by JMortensen

Yeah I gotta figure mine out, my selection is slightly more limited since my vehicle will me used more as a street cruiser/weekend racer (once the rear is finished). Finding tires in the width I need while also not being too tall is proving difficult. I'll probably end up with a 15x12 rear and a 5x10 front. Got the door jams & everything painted blue. Got the engine and tranny and everything in the car. Got windshield in. Got the front end aligned & in primer. robmurt90
Got the air dam today! Never relized how much a G-nose makes the car longer till I have a GNOSE part on the front of a regular car. haha. Gotta cut, glue and glass the front air dam to make it flush with the hood. Working on getting everything straight & getting rid of all the highs & lows in the metal on the car. Should hopefully be in the booth by the end of the week? "Hopefully" Ordering tires and rims soon! Front is gonna be a 17x11 with a 315/35R17 tire. I think I'm gonna be decreasing the stock backspacing by about an inch? Or just keep stock offset & space it occordingly to the edge of the fender. Rear is still being figured out. robmurt90
Rears are gonna be a 325/30R19 on a 19x12. Fronts have to be reconsidered, trying to find some wide but about 24". Think I might be going with a 255/30R18 or 255/35R18.

Think I might be going with a 255/30R18 or 255/35R18. Rears are NOW gonna be a 335/30R18 on a 18x12 because I can't get 19" wheels. Fronts are gonna be a 255/30R18 on 18x9. Got the air dam cut and in place, have it backed with metal to give it more support, and to make it completely bolt on, removing the self tapers on the side once the glue dries and then getting that all smoothed so it looks like it hasnt been cut... robmurt90
Filled in where the stock turn signals went, gonna be putting the turn signals in to the grill. Spent all afternoon thinking what car I can steal the turn signals from to make it work, then I saw my brother backing out of the driveway in his 280z, just remembered they have turn signals in the grill! That will all be filled and smoothed to make it all flow and be even Ordered a 8 Point Roll Cage from S&W Race Car today, they're only 10 minutes down the road from me.
