GodZilla
Just a heads up for the Portland area people. Looks like a pretty good deal to me. No mention of the important issue though (hidden rust). http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/1854011603.html Edited July 22, 2010 by GodZilla

Mikez31ss
Well, somebody possibly got one heck of a deal. I saw the ad and agree. There would have to be massive hidden rust for that not to be a great deal.
hughdogz
Haha! That's the Z I scored from my old high school buddy Kevin He said it got ~50 responses and he saw I was one of them. Yes, I'm totally lucky. It's an "old ladys" car with practially ZERO rust and nearly perfect framerails, etc. It used to belong to Mrs. Walberg...she tried selling it for 3500, but no one had the funds for the last year or two. As soon as E*Trade transfers my funds to my bank acct, it's mine. I have a down payment on it already, and I'm just dying to get it! If anyone has a Facebook, I started an photo album on it: My link My link My link
rturbo 930
Awesome! What are your plans for it?
hughdogz
Awesome! What are your plans for it? I want to ZG flare it (I've had flares from a prevous '70 Z project that never made it anywhere. I want to use the group-buy Rota RB-R's (after seeing Mongo's badass Z over at BRAAP's house) since they are relatively inexpensive...if money was no object, I'd get Watanabes, Sakuras, CCW's etc. It would be a crying shame to cut into the perfect rear arches though, but I might have to do it I also have an early '82 L28ET that I scored from RTz years and years ago...that will be the second mod after getting rid of the steelies with the 5-lug chrome-plastic-tastic 5-lug hub caps!
