BLOZ UP
I just picked up some 16x8-0 XXR 513s for my '77. I'm putting some 225/50 tires on all four (since I had them laying around). Oh noessssss I have stock suspension though.
240Z_Master
I need help too =P [only back left is rubbing]
BLOZ UP
Yup, I got them on and I'm having the issue only on the DR fender. That strut is also seized I believe, so it doesn't rebound properly. I picked up some newish rear struts. Also have a disintegrated mustache bar bushing right now, so it'll be a while till I get around to 205s and see. Ugh. I don't want to fork out money for 4 new tires...

The only fender I rolled on my car was the rear driver side.. and all is well now =)
bavarian06
like what everyone is saying, try a 215 width or/plus a smaller profile tire. what is a conservative setup on a spring alone drop (no CO)? i want to get a custom made set of wheels and ditch the xxr 002 that currently came with my car. ashintar
Do you really think you're going to out drive a smaller width tire? It would save a lot of headaches for you just to run a 215 series or 205. I'm barely stepping up to 225s with my sr20 setup,I was running 205 street tires previously. BLOZ UP
I think I'll just trim the fender, it only needs a couple mm. Then I'll roll it just slightly.

Oddmanout84
two words baseball bat done. Crazyoctopus has the right idea! Skip to 5:20 for rolling action. Here you go: That's how you should do it.
BLOZ UP
Never. Best fenders I have ever seen.
ashintar
Just go to a shop and get it rolled properly then. Can't cost more than a hundread bucks for all 4 corners, and less if you just need the rears. Should take like 10-20 mins top.

ashintar
$100 vs free with a friend.... hmmm It seems to me the owner is very protective of any paint possibly chipping/ pulling the the fender. While the good ole bball bat will get the job done its a lot harder to be consistent compared to using the eastwood tool.
Kbhead
I have 16x8 with 225x45 tires with no rubbing, but I have rims that are -20 offset. Another option would be to purchase new rims, more expensive but you keep your fenders stock.
mr jdm
I have 16x8 0mm and running 245/50. My car is lowered, but not as much as yours, I havent had an issue with rubbing. Picture is before paint and body work
BLOZ UP
For me, it's only one wheel that rubs. I'd go different tires before rolling fenders.

ashintar
Sounds like, but isn't. Something might be tweaked in the lca maybe, that or QC on the wheels might have the offsets varying. Have you tried to switch wheels to see if it has any effect. I know with my set of konigs the offset varied.
