LS1 radiator choices

I have been looking for a radiator and found these that would work. Let me know your thoughts.

direct fit and there is some N version where it adds some extra cooling.

summit version and this would be a very tight fit. the frame rails are 25.5in across. this would require a hammer or some grinding. I would use the JTR bracktes or fab some up.

Ya I've got the JTR radiator in my car and it cools well. Bracket fits nicely too!

I'm using the summit radiator#380325 with there shroud / ele. fan kit #sum-csum3800. Price $355 if you buy it all together. My 260 had enough room for a thin rubber shim between the frame rails and with some garage made saddle mounts it looks like it was made for the car. good luck

I should note that I am running a Lincoln Mark VIII electric fan that I picked up off eBay for $50 shipped with my JTR radiator kit.

Does the factory LS1 Coolant hose that runs from the thermostat to the radiator work, or does it have to be customized?

I am running factory hoses that I modified. The lower hose I just shortened. The upper hose I cut a section of the center of the hose and spliced back together using an aluminum coupler (1.5" diameter) with a 1/8" pipe fitting for my steam vent. I got mine iff eBay for $10 shipped.

thanks for all the info. I think I am going to use the Summit version.

check the sizes against ones at speedwaymotors.com They might be cheaper with better quality, even though the store brand parts are usually name brand in a different box with a different sticker.

I have a PWR - it leaves room to retain the MAF sensor and fit an OTR cold air intake.
