5.0L240z
Hello, I'm in the process of swapping a ford 5.0 into my datsun 260z. I want to lower the car about 2 inches. I've read on this site I can use mr2 struts for the front. But what I'm having a hard time finding out is, what year bracket mr2 struts will fit, and if I should use front or rear mr2 struts for the front of my Z. I have an early 260z with 240 suspension. I'm going to be running 17" mustang cobra wheels. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this challenge, or should I section my struts at all? My 260z will be a daily driver car. Thanks, Nick Edited February 20, 2011 by 5.0L240z
JMortensen
http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/38589-strut-sectioning-faq/ If you can't find the years for the MR2, you might be able to look at a Tokico application chart and figure it out that way with the stock number provided in that thread.
