I was wanting to know what people did to get the neck for the radiator hose to stay in the intake manifold. right now it can pull out. rayaapp2 Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 RTV isnt a great idea. Epoxy it in there. traditional JB weld not the instant or fast curing stuff should do the trick. I did one manifold that way. Ideally it would be press fit in and epoxy'd like a freeze plug if that gives you a good idea. I ended up buying a Greddy in the end. Well worth it for the quality. dizzle Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 I had the same problem, I drilled a hole close to the edge, tapped it. The RTV'd the hose adapter, set it in and tightened the bolt in the tapped hole. Had it in there for 2 years no problems, no one even notices...
