  1. Thanks Tony. Yah I had a hard time removing the nuts. I'm assuming your suggestion helps for a easy install/removal too. I appreciate it. I will see if I can head down to one of the stores. Funny thing is I went to mcmastercarr a couple of weeks back to pickup some weatherstrip thanks to your suggestion in another post.

  2. Hi, I am doing a rebuild/upgrade on my L6 engine and I lost all 4 water pump pulley nuts. The ones that hold down pulley via the studs from water pump. If any one can please tell me what size are the nuts so I can purchase them ASAP at a hardware store. If I had atleast one I could take it to a machinist who gives me info on threads and size, etc... I dont have one single one.

    Thanks

  3. DevilZX, looks good I'm glad you used Cummings engine as inspiration. I have been around those 16 litre inline 6 big rig engines since I was a kid. Im glad to see the manifold put to good work. Keep it up and hope you can update us with progress and results. Also, should have cleaned the manifold from the surface rust before shipped it out. Sorry.

  4. Ive heard of guys plugging and the downside is that gas will spew when it gets too hot or when you try to get close to filling the tank. If your big vent hose is not in operable condition, I suggest getting the vent line from NAPA auto, make sure you get sufficient length so you can route a long way without kinking.

  5. Hey peeps, I have an early 260z and wiring for a 1 year car has little support compared to 240z and 280z. I know how to upgrade alternators, thank you hybridz, but there is a lot of wiring for the car. I want something simple. What do you guys think I should do? I was looking at painless or ez wiring or If possible use a 240z harness for simplicity and support. Is it possible to use 240z wiring in an early 260z and remove shunt and all the add on relays for the car? Any input would be great. In the upcoming future I will upgrade to a turbo engine possibly RB if time and money permits, will stock 260z harness give me a headache when swapping the engine?

    Thanks

    Brian
