    Before cutting

This is one of the last shots I took before ripping the driver side strut out. Three middle supports are all tabbed and removable. They really hug the engine and stiffen things up a bit.
  2. V8 or V10..91 wheelbase or 96.5..2100lbs or 3200lbs..Full racing brakes or stock..a total one off hand built bad ass road car or pay over 50K just to sit in the garage?
  3. These two doors took me a day to fit. I remove the inner door skin and kicked the bars around to clear the huge seat bolsters. Turned out trick!

    240Z vs. Viper

This is a detail shot of my front down bars being test fit before welding. I'm fabing new strut mounts and reinforcing the entire front end structure
  5. I've now mounted the dash and started work on my Lexan for the rear, finishing up my cage work, body, wiring and she will be rolling in 6-7 weeks!!

    Z on the deck

Finally finished the rear and got her on the ground Friday and to my shop to complete the build.... I CAN'T WAIT!!
  7. Impressive work! I'm in the process of something like that with my car. Post more shots if you have them.
  8. Nice car! I was at the Knotts/ Zcar event last summer with my girlfriend and we really liked your Z. You've certainly done alot of work! Great build.
  9. From this you can see the side detail a little better. I welded the rear hatch, removed the drip rails, side markings, and lights.

    Baby got back

Nice looking rear shot. I like how you smoothed it out. Good job!
  11. Hand fabed and welded, 6061 T6 aircraft alum. It fits perfect, rests at the window and is only 9.5lbs w/Auto-meter guages and wiring. I have all my switches and push button starter in reach.
  12. I've taken the entire stock tail end out and designed a new one. I got alot of ideas from an early 275 GTB, and the new Corvette
  13. This is a shot of my engine. I've cut out the firewall and moved the motor back 8 inches and down 1.5. I hope to get better balance

    71 V8 Datsun

I've been working on this car for three years, and I'm almost done. This is a front shot of my new body, and fat tires!
