The O2 should be pretty obvious. It's on the drivers side in the exhaust manifold right after where all the exhaust runners meet. I have a 77, although not a cali model it does still have an O2...I think. it's currently in monster reconstruction stage.

They look the same except for the journal. I assume the 9mm caps allow for better oiling of the bearing? Less surface less friction type deal?

YEAH!!!!! I really had no idea, but I had read something about large pipe cleaners being called pig launchers.

Need info...What year?
-
This good information to have in the archives. Lets get it going. It there's no difference or maybe an advantage between the rods I would be greatful to know as would many others.

Black plugs? Oil then. How black? Light, heavy soot, wet?
-
It's a pig launcher for cleaning pipes!
Read that somewhere....

Mobile slop trough? Overkill for that I would think.

Must be nice. I never got to see the cities in Kuwait. We drove by a few going between camps after 9/11. I think one city we passed a lot was Jahra. Not absolutely sure that's the correct spelling. It was about 30 miles outside of Ali Al Salim Air Base. That was several years back so things are a bit fuzzy.

I don't see it adding much in the way of structural support. That foam isn't very strong and it's not meant for anything more than filling gaps. I couldn't see it hurting anything either though. Aside from the retaining moisture issue that is.

Wow...You're going to need one hell of a cowl hood to cover that beast!
-
Lying yes, underneith = underneath
Also, tought as in tought I taw a putty tat? Or Thought? puting = putting
If you're gonna ask for corrections I figured I should cover them all. Not trying to be a prick or anal about anything.

Next time it does it try tapping the solenoid with a wrench or extension (something metal) and try it again it might start.
Also I've read that if the external voltage regulator is going out it can effect the starter. Might want to try getting a new one. They're not expensive.

I wonder if it's just oil or coolant or something left in the exhaust from the original engine?
-
Didn't have your flywheel surfaced when you did the clutch did you?

That's the questions I want answered. The price is awesome, but I want to know what's what here before diving into a set. The guy has a 100% positive feedback score so I don't think he's out to screw anyone. Maybe just misinformed.

this is the best welder your gonna get for $159

I have that one. The only thing I hate is the line speed is difficult to get just right. It's always either too fast or too slow. Then again, I'm use to Arc welding not MIG. It's new to me so I'm still working on it.

...Yeah all I can say is....OUCH!

That sounds awesome! WOW! I'm impressed....

yeah I'm really curious now...Common, give up the goods! lol

One of the guys in my office was a motorcycle mechanic for many years and he said on EFI bikes they have injectors like that sometimes, but there's two reasons for the second intake. On some models it's an air intake for better mixture in the spray and others it's a secondary feed line. He said it could also be a return line for a self regulated injector, but wouldn't make any sense on a car with multiple injectors like ours. I emailed the seller a week ago and never received a responce. I might call and ask.

Looks like a directional antenna array of some sort. Are we into high powered CBs or HAM radio?

I use new bolt kits from ARP. I buy one "engine bolt" kit, plus the additional kits necessary (head bolts, flexplate bolts, harmonic balancer bolt, starter bolts, carb studs, valve cover studs, etc). They can be on the pricey side, but it's worth it, IMO. They look great, the quality is excellent, and they're advertised as being 12 to 15% stronger than grade 8. You usually end up with some bolts left over that find their way in serving various purposes... like holding on my license plate:)
OMG...You have a Grade 8+ ARP bolt holding your license plate on? ROFL...BWAHAHAHA...
Ok I'm good....Might be a good idea for the homies with the big subs and huge amplifiers. Their license plates always sound like they're coming off...

No it pushed a large foam "bullet" down the line the clean the insides of the pipes out. Launching a pig through a pipe wouldn't do much for cleaning, but it damn sure would make a hell of a mess.
