I wonder if he's bidding it up himself or if that's just the eBay bidder security he's enabled on it? I think you can opt for the bidder's username to not be shown so they can't be contacted by other bidders to back down.

That's horrible... Man, I really can't fathom that.
-
No we have Charterinternet here. They're contracted to Camp LeJeune. I'll see when I get home as I have Road Runner there.

The vehicle in the listing does not belong to the seller, all information was copied from this site: http://www.tunerzine.com/articles.asp?id=188
Seller is a fraud.
Sent the above message to ebay. This showed up in classiczcars.com a few minutes ago.

The speedo cable I'll check out. I think it's still in good shape but I want to be absolutely sure. The dist though needs to be rebuilt. I already pulled the good one from it for my 81ZX. Email me and I'll see what I can do about that cable though. naviathan @ gmail.com

recirculating ball, i think is what you're looking for I don't want my steering to reciprocate anything
lol....Ummm yeah...Oops...And here I am always checking my spelling and grammar...As a matter fact search google for reciprocating ball steerin and it actually comes up with A LOT of results all intended for recirculating ball. Good call, I didn't catch that.

I have a set of them I'm using for my stroker build. I couldn't get my hands on any 9mm rods either. Unless you're planning on pushing huge boost and incredible horse power number I don't think you need 9mm. But, getting the ARP bolts is still a must.
On the same line I'm curious if anyone knows if the 9mm and 8mm rods are the same aside from the bolt? If so wouldn't it be feasible to just drill and tap for the 9mm? Just curiosity.

In the last 10-15 minutes i noticed I can view most threads, some say I don't have the privileges to view the thread. And some of the threads I can view don't have a reply box and when I click quote to reply it says I don't have the privileges for that either...I'm a bit confused....Is something going on with the forum?

Haha, go Frank...Should be a lot cheaper!
-
Those are pretty sweet. I could see it on a Z easily.

According to that my 200lb rear and a stock S30 should only need 385hp to push me to 150MPH...I don't think that's possible....Eh would be fun though...

Hybrid77Z, Is this the same Hybrid77Z from ZCAR.com??? Why yes you are, and yes you must go... conduct unbecoming a human being... You and your boy Norm can have the Zcar.com sandbox to yourselves.
Mike
Not sure what this was over, but can I just say THANK YOU!!! I don't mean to rub things in here, but Hybrid77z is the reason I won't go back over to zcar.com for anything. I use to frequent both forums, but the mods there seem to support Hybrid77z and his pompus attitude, yet delete and ban others with anything real to add to the forum.

Where at? I hear there's a Z junkyard somewhere out on 24 west of me (Jacksonville NC) but I have yet to find it. Supposedly huge yard full of ZCars of all years. Anyone know where it's at?

Sounds like this should be a sticky.
-
Wow...That's sad. Seems to have worked for weight loss on a few of them though...
More of societies down falls. Seems to be a going trend on the forum today.
-
Yeah I'm very confused here. There's no background, no description of the problem other than it won't start, something about tdc and after it was requested we get the make and model... Talk about working blind.
-
This question is asked so often it should be a sticky...
As stated above Money=Power
As far as cheap power goes the only way you're getting that is if you have the tools and skills to do you're own porting, intake fabrication, exhaust and cam regrinds. Cam regrinds are fairly inexpensive, but that depends on your version of inexpensive. Give us a budget and we'll give you some more info.
Things to start with would be gutting the cat to free flow the exhaust some more, you've opened up the intake with the K&N already so that's about it for now. Money money money. How fast do you want to spend?

I have one of THESE and for a broken bolt with that much sticking out I'd take a cutoff wheel and put a slit down the middle then use the flat head attachment to the impact driver. Works really well on rusted frozen screws and bolts.

Eh, second cousins are passable, first no, third fine.
-
You are Gaius Caesar Germanicus - better known as Caligula! yikes!
You want to bed your sister?
-
Got it. I wasn't aware of that as I don't own a 300ZX, but that's good info to have.

Which Historical Lunatic Are You?
You are Joshua Abraham Norton, first and only Emperor of the United States of America!
Born in England sometime in the second decade of the nineteenth century, you carved a notable business career, in South Africa and later San Francisco, until an entry into the rice market wiped out your fortune in 1854. After this, you became quite different. The first sign of this came on September 17, 1859, when you expressed your dissatisfaction with the political situation in America by declaring yourself Norton I, Emperor of the USA. You remained as such, unchallenged, for twenty-one years.
Within a month you had decreed the dissolution of Congress. When this was largely ignored, you summoned all interested parties to discuss the matter in a music hall, and then summoned the army to quell the rebellious leaders in Washington. This did not work. Magnanimously, you decreed (eventually) that Congress could remain for the time being. However, you disbanded both major political parties in 1869, as well as instituting a fine of $25 for using the abominable nickname "Frisco" for your home city.
Your days consisted of parading around your domain - the San Francisco streets - in a uniform of royal blue with gold epaulettes. This was set off by a beaver hat and umbrella. You dispensed philosophy and inspected the state of sidewalks and the police with equal aplomb. You were a great ally of the maligned Chinese of the city, and once dispersed a riot by standing between the Chinese and their would-be assailants and reciting the Lord's Prayer quietly, head bowed.
Once arrested, you were swiftly pardoned by the Police Chief with all apologies, after which all policemen were ordered to salute you on the street. Your renown grew. Proprietors of respectable establishments fixed brass plaques to their walls proclaiming your patronage; musical and theatrical performances invariably reserved seats for you and your two dogs. (As an aside, you were a good friend of Mark Twain, who wrote an epitaph for one of your faithful hounds, Bummer.) The Census of 1870 listed your occupation as "Emperor".
The Board of Supervisors of San Francisco, upon noticing the slightly delapidated state of your attire, replaced it at their own expense. You responded graciously by granting a patent of nobility to each member. Your death, collapsing on the street on January 8, 1880, made front page news under the headline "Le Roi est Mort". Aside from what you had on your person, your possessions amounted to a single sovereign, a collection of walking sticks, an old sabre, your correspondence with Queen Victoria and 1,098,235 shares of stock in a worthless gold mine. Your funeral cortege was of 30,000 people and over two miles long.
The burial was marked by a total eclipse of the sun.

Huh? If it has a viscious in it, I'd be surprised. Those are very rare. Its most likely a CLSD if its a LSD at all...
I wasn't aware the 300ZX used a clutch type LSD. I only remember there being the open diff and the VLSD from the Shiro and turbo models.
In any case if the clutches are going bad the diff fluid will be dark grey or black from the wear.
cool retro lights for a s30!!

Yes it was and I suppose it would be a "General Zee". I thought about doing that one time just for laughs. Didn't go through with it though.
