    bigger isn't always better. some cores are more effecient than others! try seeing if you can get an intercooler from a isuzu NPR, or maybe a starion.

    haha! it is a lot more work than an L28et...of which you can use the stock motor and tranny mounts. but the VG can be mounted further back towards the center of the car giving it a better weight distribution. and if you're real badass you could drop a z32 TT vg in! but to each his own. and for budgets/time the L is definetly the way to go. good luck on your swap! keep us up to date. post some before pics for us too!

    350 dollars? it's going to have a lot of rust. replace the frame rails and the floor boards, replace the suspension and brakes and make it SAFE before you go turbo charging it all willy nilly.

    morrrrrrre pics and i don't understand. the FJ produces more than 200 horsepower, right? why don't DOHC 2L I4's today make much more power than that? the FJ was made a longgggg time ago.

    i'm also interested in this...i won't be doing a turbo conversion on the 300zx and will just be keeping it a reliable NA daily driver. i've seen the nismo headers but not in person, and also interested if they're any good! thanks to anyone that can help
