  1. Ford sb is lighter though(the one I went with) but more expensive. But if it is your first time go with sbc because you can simply buy all that you will need from http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/PRC01 every thing would be almost all bolt in.
  2. I had the same problem the none ho cam will work perfect as well all you have to do is use flat tappet lifters and longer push rods, and the non ho firing order.
  3. I just tried hagerty and they told me that 6000 miles a year is to many miles to cover on that car and if I supercharged it they would not cover it. I live in a small town and any of the meets are at least 100 miles one way I cant believe that I invested so much time and money and I cant even drive the frigin thing. Does anyone else have a different co. they use.

  14. Hey guys I was just racing my Z and missed a gear, continued race but at the end it was making a light knocking noise starting around 2000 rpms. I know it is not the rod or rod bearings because it would have locked up on the way home. I have also checked the spark plugs for oil and they also checked fine. I can tell however that the noise is coming from the passenger side of motor. I curently have the motor pulled down and I am fixing to check the valve springs on this side. Just would like to get some other views on what could be wrong. Some one had said something about vtc, cam gear on the intake cam.
  15. I have just got done building my 302 for my car, the best head combo I could find was the gt40 heads, a 600, 595 lift cam, same thing, and I got the 347 stoker kit. The best way I found to find the best parts was to get the 5.0 mustang mag. they have lots of useful info on building a ford engine.
  16. I just bought a 300 tt and am having problems with disengaging the clutch. I have installed a new master cylinder and a new rubber slave cylinder hose but i am still not getting enough throw out of my clutch. if anyone has any ideas please , please write me back. Thanks, Adam
