    Original Ad Pics

These are some of the original pics from the eBay ad and accompanying auto broker site which I based my purchase decision on.
  2. Thanks for the info David. That's pretty much where I'm at too. I'm just hoping to avoid finding out that the one time it doesn't work is when I'm parked on a steep San Francisco hill like the one below. Sometime you have to take when you can get. Fortunately, on the steepest hills, it's usually not parallel parking. . .
  3. Yeah, as you can see I never got and answer to this. Hopefully the revival of this thread will get us some answers.
  4. Sorry to bring up an old thread, but does anyone know why the PDK Fabrication strut bars are "unavailable until further notice" according to their website? I sent an e-mail to Mark at PDK and I'm awaiting a response. If it turns out that these will no longer be mfg, I just might take this on as my first welding project.
  5. I love the move the last Z made as it pulled in. Smoooooth!
  6. Nice tip. For more info: http://www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com/
  7. I may have a set of e-brake brackets I can send you if I didn't toss them out already. I'll search for them after I complete the move to the new house. Let me know if you still need them by reminding me in a couple weeks. The one question I still need an answer to is how to attach the e-brake cable to the 240SX caliper e-brake bracket. The 240SX e-brake bracket is too thick to use the original lock plate and groove on the e-brake cable. In looking at a few pictures, it looks like ppl are using one of the lock plates from the hardline mount points on the body instead of the original lock plate, however the opening on these are too wide and the second groove (not intended for this purpose) on the e-brake cable is not deep enough to act as a solid leverage/holding point. Any suggestions on what others have done here would be helpful. Adam
  8. Wow! I feel a few pounds heavier after reading this thread. Thanks for all the great info Paul. I feel a lot better about my decision to stick with the P79 head that came on my F54 JY engine for a mild to moderate street build, rather than going the more complex and expensive option of an N42.
  9. You could always cut away the 4th mounting hole and slip it on without removing the stub axle, but this isn't news.
  10. Funny, I'm trying to find a pair of those myself for the same task. I want to get the calipers bead blasted and powder coated but don't feel good about doing that without tearing them completely down. There's a lot of crap inside these calipers, and they're probably as sensitive as a fine clock.
  11. Ross appears to be AWOL again. I've ben trying to get in touch with him since Thursday of last week. Where are you Ross? My car is running but I can't stop it without brakes.......
  12. I don't belive they've been around for years. Here's an old article from the from the March 24-31, 2004 issue of Metro Santa Cruz. http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/03.24.04/z-zone-0413.html
  13. I thought N42s had square intake ports. Is that head from a Z, a Maxima, or whatever they're called in SA?
  14. Very impresive. Hopefully I'll never have to be this ingenious.
