  1. I think you should keep an internal unit unless you absolutely need teh external (which I don't think you do). if you do decide to go external, it should be as close as possible to the turbo, and in the most direct flow of exhaust gas (ie. no 180* turns)
  2. you could turn your car off and coast past
  3. I'm trying to make a simple logo for my site, and I need the datsun type font. Also. does anyone happen to have a large picture of the wireframe Z model poster that MSA sells? thanks!
  4. don't forget to add on ~400 for fittings, pipes, misc etc.

  9. last night my friend, his wife and I went to get dinner. We're in a very crowded parking lot, and there are two girls walking in front of my car. ie. blocking me and preventing me from going forward faster. I say to my friend "you know, if they didn't have such nice asses, I'd be more of an ass!" One of the chicks stops dead in her tracks, turns around and stares me down with the cold "did you just say that? I will cut your balls off so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world!" because my window, is apparently, rolled down I look in the back seat, and my friend's wife is just losing it because she thought it was that funny. Apparently I'm louder than I think I am.
  10. mike, you know i moderate on clubsi, right?
  11. I've got all the pieces and hardware - it just has to be adjusted for proper fit and put together, so it's not like the welder would have to get any additional materials, but i see your point
  12. situation: i need exhaust manifold fabbed up and welded. I have most components, but it requires tig welding, cutting, measuring, and towing the car. I need the manifold welded, wastegate v-band clamp welded, etc. i have two options: 1. friend of a Z guy who'd do pretty much anything needed welding on the Z including manifold for $100. manifold, reinforcements, etc. supposedly does decent stuff, has a 40's style aircraft tig welder in his garage at home. basic tools aside from the welder. everything needed for $100 2. friend of a friend, who moonlights on the side. has a big bunker with a snap-on lift, mig, tig, arc welders, plasma cutter, pipe benders, etc. Has been welding for 14 years, does all the body strenghtening on jeep offroader and rock crawlers, kick ass work. but he charges 45/hour, and say everything that needs to be done would take the whole day. which would you pick? possible option 3 is work out a flat rate with guy #2
