  2. uh, what? Your question makes no sense. IF you're talking about the motorex r32 gtr, it's not a kitcar. It's an imported r32 gtr from japan, left hand drive, legally registered,s mogged, and insured in the US. This is why the cars are so expensive to purchase, since motorex covers all the steps.
  3. 15/16mc, toyota vented 4x4 swap up front, ross 240sx in the rear, removed stock prop. valves. T line to the front, wilwood valve for rear bias adjustment
  4. correction, the ford 3.8L v6 motor is a pile of steaming poo. headgaskets are notorious for failing

    Mopar Help?

tim: i thought the TT had a mechanical clutch lsd, while hte n/a had the r200 vlsd. Q45 had r200 vlsd and the r230 vlsd in later models, I think? I picked up DavyZ's q45 diff from 73botiz, and the sucker was way wider than an r200.

    Mopar Help?

hm, well, 400 and 440 are both big blocks (400 is a destroked 440), I'd like to see what it looks like in a Z. as far as rear diffs go, the r200 can take about 400 ft lbs of torque, but the halfshafts will break a lot sooner than that. with that block, you're probably making over 450 ft lbs of torque, so I'd look to bigger rear diffs like an r230 out of a q45 with cv axles
  8. do you know how much money the average jizzmopper makes per hour? -what's a jizzmopper? he's the guy that cleans up the nudies booths after each guy jerks off. -nudie booth? what, you've never been to a nudie booth before? -guess not Oh, it's great. You step into this little booth and there's this window between you and this naked woman, and she puts on this little show for like ten bucks. -What kind of show? Think of the weirdest, craziest shit you'd like to see chicks do. These chicks do it all. They insert things into any opening in their body...any opening. The jizz-mopper's job is to clean up the booths afterward, because practically everybody shoots a load against the window, and I don't know if you know or not, but cum leaves streaks if you don't clean it right away. I love Clerks
  9. wow, that was easy. did exactly what both of you said to do (and borrowed friend's AN vice clamps that summit carries). taped it off tight, used a dremel to cut the line, not a single strand of SS popped out. That did, however, cost me 1 dremel disk per fitting, lol. Oiled up the line, fitting, used a 3/4" ratchet on the outer clamp, it went right on. Nice of summit to reverse thread'em too, so when you're screwing the line in, it doesn't pop back out.
  10. any tips on getting the braided SS line into the damn fitting? it's like a square peg through a round hole!
  11. I'm not a democrat (nor republican), but seeing as how Bush's patriot act infringes on a lot of freedoms, fact that he wants to dictate who can and cannot get married, unnecessary invasion of Iraq, etc. point me to believe he's not a good president. to top it off, as a leader of our country, he's not very charismatic. Kerry could probably sell me a corvette though based on lots of empty promises.
  12. Funny thing is I read the pic reply, did a quick google image search for "Dennis Miller" and was presented with a picture of an erect dick as 4th match While this is an accurate description of Dennis Miller, and this is why he's really funny, it's not something I particularly wanted to see!
  13. 750 per wheel? Hope that's either canadian, or they throw in the vasoline for free! eep! then again, i should know all about how expensive custom stuff is
  14. not my material, although I can come up with relatively funny crap. I was listening to Dennis Miller - Off the White album, and cracking up, so I typed it out.
  15. Is a mortician. Surgery on dead people. If everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING went wrong, you might get a pulse "Christ, honey, today was horrible. I gained one on the table" Conversely, the most difficult job would be a bank security guard. In Alaska in winter. You got 50 customers... they're ALL wearing ski masks...
  16. yeah, that's what I was originally planning on - another 6an fitting for the top, drill hole, plumb return there.
  17. holla folks. question for you all. My setup is as follows: -summit pro street 16 gallon sumped plastic fuel cell w/ anti slosh foam/gm senser -8an line to gravity fed walbro 255lph (43psi avg) inline external fuel pump, goes to: -8an line into a Y block to 2 -6an lines to 2 fuel rails, returning to: aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with 2 inlets, 1 outlet. Outlet (return) goes to fuel cell Can I plumb the return line into the second fitting on the sump, or does it need to be plumped from the top of the fuel cell so the fuel drips down into the cell?
  18. ah, found'em on summit. i couldn't find one before, so it got annoying
  19. does anyone manufacture them, or do I need to simply use an 8an hose with 2 female ends?
  20. ah, good old hun. Besides excellent free porn, sometimes they post up good humor
  21. negative. as far as more info goes, 280z cars (for the most part) had r200 differentials, stock IRS. these are almost a direct bolt in into a 240z (requires different mustache bar and flip the front diff. mount 180*). They're 200mm ring gear, or 7.9" rear end. If you don't mind a pegleg, it's a cheap beefy rear diff that'll hold out to about 350 ft lbs of torque. The differential won't go first, but the halfshafts will. You shouldn't have too much of an issue with off-line torque since it's a turbo 2 liter, and you won't have the snapping reaction of 350ft lbs from something like an sbc. You may want to check out modern motorsports link above for pricing and info on CV axle conversion, and look around for an 88-89 300zx turbo rear diff (3.7 geared clutch limited slip).
  22. http://www.sr240z.com/ rear end - 280z. driveshaft? custom fabrication. motormounts? custom fabrication. axles? 280z. or if you want to use cv axles, 280zx w/ adapters from http://www.modern-motorsports.com
  23. flange side goes to intake plumbing, as close as possible to the throttle body. big outlet perpendicular to that is vent, that can be left open to dump air to atmosphere. little plug in the back is for vaccuum.
