The problem is there are so many variations on the V8 swap that what works for one person may not for someone else. N20Jeep didn't provide any specifics about his swap so how am I expected to give him specific information? That thread and the link in it contains several options that may or may not work for him. All he has to do is go out to the garage and get a tape measure out to narrow it down, then maybe call the place to double check.

Hmmm... I like that! The hood bulge looks so much better like that, rather than the NISMO one.

Aah, ok. My bad

I don't get one
But then again, I only grossed like 3500 last year. Go summer jobs!

These manifolds will work with angle plug heads.
Last line on the product description.

I'm not gonna lie, I really like those seats

I stand corrected.
But the numbers are very very few. I've seen a LOT of S130 cars in person, never once seen one that came without a rear wiper from factory.
Yup. I think I read somewhere (and I could be totally off base here) that it was pretty much only the 79s that were stripped down. Mine is kinda weird, it was a 5 speed with R180, no power anything, no wiper. I think I just got left overs
-
And anyways, there's no that's going to pass inspections.

The reason they didn't have rear wipers (the only S130 without them) is that they interfered with the spoiler, and they weren't about to modify the spoiler, so off came the rear window wiper.
Not true, some of the early regular ones didn't have the rear wiper (like mine).

I thought that was cool for a second, then I remembered that the money and time could be spent working on a real car, not to mention the hours that would eat up in front of the TV rather than in the garage.

Had a thought about doing it, but decided against it because there was no direct focus of airflow going into the carbs. By cutting it like that it seems that the air would just run over and under the filter and not as much would get into the carbs.
I don't think it's any different than the filters that a lot of people put on triple webbers. I wonder if there is any difference with this setup. Loss of slight ram air effect vs. higher flow

Wow, that is impressive. The plenum looks a lot like the one Ron Tyler made, shape wise.

"Since when have you been a cargo junkie?"
"Since the Kha'ak started blowing our fleet to bits"

LOL....it hasn't been a Tuned Z for 18 years....it's been an evolving Z and that's too many letters.
So you didn't choose DarwinZ instead?

Finally got some better ones.
A couple days after ACL surgery over Christmas break this year.

Hmmm, I have to say I don't really like the orange. The body work (drip rails, roll pan, etc.) is all great though.

If Zs were electric hybrids, I think there would be a serious smug problem

Happy birthday

Heh, it was around 70 here today

Glad you're getting all rested up, Phil. Did you get your diff all sorted out?
Someone's going to bump this thread in like six months and ask if it's too late to join the gold fish group buy, right?

Hahaha, well so far I'm going to have to run down the 1320 unless Vic. British can get me a fuel pump relay.

Are you using wireless or a cable at home? I'm assuming you're using wireless at the hotel, right? If you have wifi at home, check the transfer rate and make sure you're getting a good signal.
