I always thought an MR2 of that body style would make an awesome rally car.
You think everything would make a great rally car
I like how the kid lists what kind of brake fluid he has in it...

Omaha? Sweet! I'll have to ask around and try to find this guy.

Ok...I seriously need to know how many people want to participate the next contest.
It will not happen unless there are at least 10 contestants...
Please e-mail davyzmikellyeric@yahoo.com

.I'd definitely be in for a second round! -
Did they change the picture? I actually complained about it, but I didn't think they'd actually change the picture...
All I see is a bunch of pics of casualties from IEDs and stuff from Iraq:sad:

This is the best one: "Ever wondered why diesel trucks has a lot of torque but redline is like at 3500rpms?"
So if you just rev your civic to 4K before you shift then you'll get more torque, right?

It's gone now. Was it just a rock sold as a assault weapon?

Here's the diagram. It's basically the same as the two Larry posted, just all in one diagram

I'm downloading Master Plan right now
If you do a second draft of the griffin try lowering the top beak so you can see both eyes. That will help it look like the bird is looking at the viewer and portray the "crazy" part better. But then again I know nothing about art, so don't mind me if what I just said makes no sense.

Guys, this picture is years old. The first time I saw it there was a news article with it. The truck was driven by a teenage kid who (Good call on the T in the road) ran through a stop sign too fast and didn't make the corner, went over the curb and launch the truck into the garage.
Check that! Here's the truth!
I see, so I was half right!

Nice drawings and CONGRATS on getting into grad school!

Kinda have to wonder how the truck got up and over the Ferrari. The rear doesn't appear to be that badly damaged.
The Ferrari hit the truck and slid under. Notice the fragments of the garage door between the truck tire and car. I'll bet the person driving was speeding along and hit a T in the road with someone's driveway at the top of the T.

You had me fooled for a minute until I saw the Koala in the eucalyptus trees. That's just a picture from Australia.

Mow the lawn yourself or pay the neighbor kid to do it?

Yeah, I'd check the tach to make sure it's reading right. Does the engine sound like it's at 4k rpm in sixth?

Dollar per horsepower, it's going to be cheaper to go with the LT1. If you slap some hair dryers on it big horse power is not that hard to achieve. Search for LT1 and you'll get tons of info including wiring.

First, read this http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123143
Everything depends on what YOU want out of the car. FWIW, the '350' you have access to is an LT1. Search for that and you'll get tons of info.

Just wanted to say I've been running the set up I was talking about (with the two switches I linked) for ~100 miles now and everything is working great. I had to change the T-stat from 195 to 180, but other than that it hasn't overheated at all. I'm working on a diagram of my wiring, I'll post it when I'm done.

Back in the ‘90’s there was a gentleman who was a very gifted welder and welded 2 SBC, blocks, cranks, heads etc together, but he took the time to do it in such a way that the block and heads looked as if they were cast as a V-16 SBC. I think HOTROD magazine did a write up on it at one time. Any how, here is that engine today. I guess he built two of them..

I've seen that motor. Way, way cool! It's at SpeedWay Motors here in Lincoln. When the guys built it they ground all the welds flush then went over them with a punch and hammer to stipple the metal to look like it was cast. Simply amazing.

What about chopping up and molding in a single piece?
-
Hotter t-stat helps because hot water in the radiator transfers it's heat away more quickly. ...I think....there is a thread here somewhere.
Yeah, if the thermostat open too low it won't ever close and the engine will just keep getting hotter, almost like running no t-stat. I don't know if it would effect the temps that fast, though?

I think you've got the best BASE to work on for the 280ZX cars. Rack and pinion manual steering, manual windows, slick top. Gosh, gotta be at least a good 100 pounds than the last cars to roll off the lot in 83.
No kidding, but be ready to have super strong forearms. I drove mine around all weekend and my arms are sore:rolleyesg

What about taking the pulley to a machine shop and having them cut ribs in it?
