  1. Did BMW ever bring a diesel to the states? I have never heard of nor seen one.

Anyone seen the Top Gear where they enter the diesel BMW? I was surprised at how well they did.

yeah, you could get the old 5 series (early to mid 80's) with a turbo diesel in the US. Of course that has nothing to do with modern BMW diesel motors.

  2. Save yourself a lot of grief, spend the extra dough and buy a Texas Rollback. You'll be glad you did.

No ramps (and/or extensions) to fool with, or loose. The wheels and fenders are out of the way during load/unload so your not banging your doors. There are just so many good reasons.

thats pretty neat, I hadnt seen that one before. My dad is currently looking for a featherlite dual axle, but im going to show him that ;)

  3. depends if you are leg tall, or torso tall. Im 6'5 myself, with a 36" inseam. Im cramped with stock seats, but not terribly. I couldnt fit with a helmet on, thats for sure. Ive got a OMP seat to fit this winter, hoping to gain another inch or so of headroom.

  4. I got my AZcar coilovers last week, and half of my order from ross. Hoping the rest will show up this week. I was hoping for the rest of the week off to work on the car, but we got busy at work.... Ill get to work on it next weekend anyways ;)

Oh, plus I got a rusted out ZXT for parts at the beginning of the month.

  5. I like dual axle setups. Usually flat bed, so you can haul other things if need be (furniture, dirt, wood, whatever) as many tie down points as you can get. Also, for those unforseen time when you may not be able to get the car up there, a winch is rad. I also like to have trailers with a bit lower ride height, it makes it easier to load and unload a low Z.

  6. The number of specific topic forums continue to amaze me....one just on lighting.

    Thanx!

    everything has a forum!!

The beam patter will be more focused, however that wont help the crap 12000k light get any brighter.

  7. The current 'green' trend is an annoyance to me, the accomplishments are something that should have been done long ago in the name of technological advancement, instead of a 'sky is falling' environmental hysteria.

Yes! Im not the only one! im tired of hearing 'go green' or 'green this/that'

I think its funny, everyone says 'everything has been swapped into a Z' then this comes up!
