  1. Still looking for some wheels guys let me know what you have.
  2. HAHAH lets do it! Are you down to go to Salinas? Im online looking for a set of wheel adapters as we speak!
  3. So here's the deal I found a set of rare enkei 98s right. I was told by the guy whom I bought them off of that they were 15 by 4x114. So I bought them but when I went to go mount them up the pattern was too small. Long story short called him back andd he was sure they came off of his 240z(stock). I call it bs cuz when I measured them the size was 4x108. So I will post pictures in the for sale section maybe a trade. Guppies those are the exact looking ones that I bought except mine are gold with polished lip.
  4. Looking for something similar to this or mesh. Less offset. http://www.google.co...sch&um=1&itbs=1
  5. So heres the deal im looking for a set of 15"/16" wheels with a neg(nothing too crazy) or zero offset. The reason being is because i had bought some bumpsteer spacers and forgot that i needed a taller rim so the steering knuckle can clear. Post pictures or send me a pm of what you have thanks. The budget is $500 realistically.
  6. $17 shipping for the turbo valve cover for a total of $57 Chris

  7. The wiring harness is being held for someone a few days, but I still have the valve cover. Where are you located for a shipping price ?

  8. Im sorry to hear the bad news Mike stay positive and always keep the good things that your dad had taught you..one day when you're on that road course he will be looking down on his son and be proud of what you have accomplished. Condolences Nissun1
  9. Needing for some knowledge as to swap in an l28t into a 73 240z. Im fairly aquainted with the search feature but would like some first hand experience with others who have attempted this swap. My budget at the moment is 2k and hp goals 350-400. I have looked into tuning as far as my goals and am thinking of megasquirt 2 v3.57, port and polish p90 heads, 3" exhaust, cams, etc.. Just looking for more knowledge and to what i should be being weary for.
  10. Wow and i thought i was crazy! I gotta say you went all out for your Z. And i can tell you had a lot of motivation to finish this project!! GREAT JOB!!
  11. Im interested because what kind of corrosion protection would you use for inner seam welds...sometimes its not even remotely possible to protect that side.
  12. Not looking for three piece. Thanks for the offer though.
  13. You could do it that way although for the front plates to get the most out of the kit you would need to cut and weld up the strut tops. It really wasnt too bad in my opinion. It took about 1 day for the fronts and another day for the rears. 209runner that is a good idea although when it is drilled you want to make sure they are identical to the other coilover. I forgot to post more pictures of my install..anyways thanks for posting here are the progress pictures. Here are the rear control arms with a fully custom solid diff mount. This is what it looks like assembled on the ground minus the other coilover ( it was being used in the fitment process while on the car). Now to the fun stuff. First grind down all the junk and debris (caulking) to get a clean welding surface. Rough first cut. This is what i did to get the rear plate to sit flush with the coilover top plate. I set the plate on top so that i can see how much i would have to cut away on the strut top. Trace a circle and try to follow it. You should get something close to this. Do some welding! After you are done welding sit back and enjoy some of your work. The plates should sit flat against the tops of the coilovers and they should not be crooked in any way. If they are just grind down on the inside of the plate under the wheel well. Here is what the setup looks like after it was done being painted. Lastly a rear shot of the car. Next up is the front install! I will post pictures along the way guys so heres a quick look at where i am.
  14. how long did it take you to scrape all the undercoating off?..im guessing a heat gun and a scraping tool was your best friend haha
  15. has a 240sx booster+master cylinder combo work as a bolt in setup for a brake upgrade on a 240z
  16. Update: 280z rear stub axles(27 spline) with flange full coilovers ( sleeves) camber plates (preferably weld in although will consider bolt in also ) a set of rear lower control arms (a arm style) megan street series coilovers a set bump steer spacers zg fender flares..white or black bre style cf wing/ or black Im looking for these last two.
  17. for the rear yes a pair of adjustable lca's would work fine as for the biscuit style camber plates( assuming they are the bolt ins) i would be 100% sure if that would adapt over.
  18. Ok I have been in the market for a set of bump steer spacers and was wondering if anybody had a suggestion towards either zcc's bump steer spacer or msa? Does having an adjustable camber plate have a neg effect on the handling if I were to go with zcc? Because if I were to use that setup they have a specific offset...is that goin to be a problem especially if the car is lowered? Btw I do intend on tracking it on occasion. I read up quite a bit about drilling through the x(cross) member and adjusting the pivot point ..although I feel like I don't want to go to that extreme of doin the job. Any first hand/good suggestions would be much appreciated!

  20. Update: 280z rear stub axles(27 spline) with flange full coilovers ( sleeves) camber plates (preferably weld in although will consider bolt in also ) a set of rear lower control arms (a arm style) megan street series coilovers zg fender flares..white or black bre style cf wing/ or black a set bump steer spacers Cmon u guys i know u want a lil extra cash! comment or pm thanks!
