  1. Drax what do you mean by cross sectional area? sorry i'm new at this but i learn quickly.

I got it all done the guys at the muffler shop did a great job bending the pipe.I had to fit everything at home and get it all together checked for leaks seems like there isn't any but now in first it only goes to about 7 psi and then in second it only goes to 8 psi it use to run 9 psi in second and 8 in first.Could it be the intercooler?Or the piping?I can't turn up the boost yet cuz i don't have an adjustable pop off valve.Would it make that much difference if i put in a blow off valve?I plan to anyway but i was just wondering why it doesn't go up as high in first and second.

Well i did it and was wondering if it would be too restrictive.It seems to run fine but i've never owned a turbo car before.It's y'ed off from the down pipe to the twice pipes sounds great at low rpm and at high it sounds really quiet.I was just wondering if the pipes on them are big enough and if i'm going to affect the performance with the two pipes?
  4. I took drax's advice and went to the local muffler shop i have a friend there and he said he could bend 2.5" pipe with out any trouble or kinks so saturday the ic pipes are going to be custom bent i'll take pics to show everyone.

Drax where did you get your pipe?And how did you have it bent?I found out from a guy who builds drag cars today that the diameter pipe i was looking for was really accessable in canada they use aluminum pipe as conduite(sp?)I live about an hour or so from the boarder and was thinking of going over there for some if anyone is interested in some too let me know
  6. I was thinking what about copper pipe would it work?All the joints could be soldered for a good seal and the two lines going to the IC could be hose what do you guys think?As for appearance you could always clear coat the copper so it doesn't tarnish.

  8. I ease into the throttle rather than just hold it wide open sometimes.Not all the time but when it hasn't been reved up could it be the turbo finally getting warm?Then sometimes it does it when it's warm too but not as often it could just be me expecting too much.What do you guys think?
  9. What does dsm stand for?Sorry i'm new and am not up to some of the terms.I have an intercooler i'm just looking for some piping for it.

Just curious about how much diff it makes?I was reading the book maximum boost(sweet book)and saw that in it and was wondering if it is necessary to have one.How it works like what makes it blow off when the throttle is closed diff in vacuum?It seems mine goes better after i run it once thru the gears and then after that first has really good pull but if i don't first sucks it still goes up to 9# but not as much pull if i slo down and try again it pulls like a mother.....Could this be causing my prob?One more question should the gauge line be put in the turbo housing? I have mine in the intake to see what the engine is getting.Let me know wise ones nobody around where i live knows about this stuff
