put in the new zxt fi harness and crank sensor, she has been sitting for 6 months now, and today, with her new parts, fired right up!! I think she wants to go again

tightening the spring will make it run leaner, and loosening the spring will make it run richer.

I had mine plumbed in 2 days. sawsall one day and then the muffler shop the next.

did you play with the afm yet?? tighten that spring, that will help it out

i have swapped a 81zxt motor into my 76 z. noe the 81zxt fi harness that goes over to the passenger side of the car that has the, knock sensor, head temp sensor, and the efi relay. Now off of the efi realy, it splits. There is a white plug, 5 pins, colors are, green, purple, yellow, white, black with a white stripe. I just put a new fi loom in my car, and i had the green wire hooked up to something on my first zxt loom, but i went to hook it up to the new loom and the wire that hooked up to the green wire like broke off what ever it was attached to. Now, I have looked in the fsm, and it sais that that green wire goes to the air regulator, I dont run a air regulator. So do i need do have the green wire hooked up to something else??

Do i really need this.. i have a 81zxt engine in my 76, which already has fusible links.. The reason I am asking this is because i got a new fi harness, and the hrness that plugs into the fusible link box is different then what i have now.

does it sit that high normaly??

i havent run one in 4 years... its basically a pointless part, in my opinion. i just left the fuel vent there with a miny filter on it

hey i got a laptop for my car... now i am ready for some data logging... how do you hook it up to the car and the software.

ok.. it is the black wire, it splits off to the ecu and the afm.. is that supposed to be grounded??

ok, the wire that goes to the ecu from the head temp sensor is good, bu the other wire sais it is grounding... is it supposed to?? where does it go?

scotty... no i havent even looked at it.. i was gonna do that friday. yeah.. i posted this file on zcarchat, big mistake.. i think there eating all teh bandwidth.. i looked at my usage for the past 2 days.. maxed out. I have a site all ready to go up there, but i have to wait for it to become avail so i can upload it but keep going there to see if you can get the file.
