  1. ok looked at my head temp sensor, and the water temp sensor... cleaned em off, both are working properly, and i am gonna put more air to it ordered up a turboxs boost controller last night. but any way, my air fuel meter is reading about 5 bars from full rich... so it is better than yesterday
  2. i need to lean out my 76 turbo... tightened the afm, is there anything else that i can do??
  3. its a 76 z, with a 81 turbo engine... basically stock, no air regulator. has the turbo thorrotle body, mounted on the 76 intake manifold, no intercooler, running stock boost.
  4. 76 with a 81 turbo conversion... just finished it and now it starts when it feels like it.. gets gas, but no spark.. i have played with the crank angle sensor. swapped out computers last night and it started right up... went out this morning and just cranked.

  7. scotty miz told me it comes out with the FI harness.. well mine didnt... still in the car.. and when i trace it, it goes up under the dash... what should i do??
  8. ok.. there was a spacer on it.. between the bolts and the flywheel... but there is another?? between the flywheel and the engine??
  9. got a 80 2+2 flywheel and clutch in a 83zx tranny bolted to a 81 turbo engine... my starter isnt engauging... i have tried 4.. all the same... what else do i need to do??

  11. do the contacts look alright?? the outer 2 are like flush.. and the middle is sunken in.. is it supposed to be like this??
  12. I changed out ecu's, no change. Is it a constant 12v that it suplies just while the car is cranking and running?? or is it a intermintant 12v to trigger the spark??

  14. master where is it that thing on the coil?? got pulled over tonight also... got me for vegas martigraw beads hanging for my rear view... how stupid eh... wyoming cops have to about something... you got the pics of the z2000?? with the L28e in her?
  15. ok... both sides of coil have power... injectors are firing... fuel pump is running... could the spark thing on the side of the coil be the problem?? or is it ok, cuz both sides of the coil have power??
  16. can i used a 81zx n/a fi and ecu for a turbo conversion into my 76 z?? would that work?
  17. why?? coil has power, swapped it out with another, no change... but if i hook the ground to the negitive side and the power to the positive... i get nothing, even while cranking, but if i ground the meter to the chassis, it shows it has power. The crank position sensor is plugged in.. how do I check that?? Also on the passenger side, the loom that goes out to the engine bay, inside the car, it has been melted, anything to do with spark over there? im going to be putting this turbo into my 76z... so if i swap it out you think i'll have better luck with getting it started?

  20. it is out of a 63 corvette, but it was a 3 speed tranny, so the engine only has 250hp. What is the difference in the 327's with the 4 speed trannys that had 300+ hp??
  21. Jags That Run... good motor mounts and tranny mounts for a chevy 350?? And there instruction book on how to do this?? Any other sites that would be of help??
