There are some tubes that actually reduce with a smaller 90 deg. tube off of the main tube. u could use that, those tubes are only pressed into the block.

Well if the engine is out or if you have access to the block. You can buy a weldable fitting to it and reduce it that way. Plus it will look trick and function really well.

Here are some soild lifters I removed from an E88 head to transplant into my P90A head and ones that were received in a purchase of converted P90A head. After cleaning both sets I noticed that some of the pivot ends were diffrently shaped. So my questions are were there diffrent types/ styles pivots. Does anyone know the Time-sert part # for converting to solid lifters on a P90A head. I know the solid lifter outside diameter is an M18 x 1.5mm threads what is the outer diameter of the hydraulic lifter M20 x 1.5 mm? I got a part # of 18175 from a distributor for time-sert. Don't know if thats the right treads.

Yeah I read that in my MSD manual but it didn't think it would work the same for the Crane unit. Glad you got it figured out.

now the stock coil wires were disconnected right other wise everything is right in the wiring. if you left the coil wires connected you could of blown the IC module and would need a new one or new distributor. Did you check the distributor per the FSM? If it still not working did you contact Crane.

If it's anything like the MSD it's the pick ups are just making and breaking contact. That signal is used to fire the coil. if you were to do it manually (touch and break the Crane pick up wires) does the coil fire or the light flicker. It's possible that maybe some thing is shorting through the distributor? Edit: I guess I should ask which distibutor type you have? The standard magnetic pick-up or the one with the IC module? If it's the one with the IC module then the above statements will not apply. If you are using the IC dist. I know there are seperate wires to use than the pick-up ones. It's possible that the module whent bad or the crane unit did. Check the distributor like in the manual and if it's fine call Crane.
