  1. Justin remember that I wanted two of the flanges and bases. I'll will send you paypal funds when the oreder is ready to ship. Thanks
  2. Jeff, again awesome work and ducumentation. This thread has some of the most intersting and creative ideas when it comes to induction. Im glad that everyone helping you is so will to share there thoughts with the community. Keep up the good work all of you and thanks. Jeff when do you expect to have the car running and on the road?
  3. I completely agree with you Timz, I was just saying that your design seems to be the exception to the rule in terms of the squish theory. Numbers don't lie and your work speaks for itself.
  4. Excellent thank you getting that checked out I was starting to have withdrawls. I think where the confusion lies where on the other thread they talk about keeping the squish area relatively small so that the mixture burns quicker because it's in a concentrated area. Where by your design both the head and the piston have a large dish and more of an area to burn the fuel. I hope i touched on that right. If not please correct me.
  5. P.S. Any other vids of the car would be very cool too! I know you don't want to tear up the driveline components at the track, but did you ever try to see what the car would do at the track? Base on the HP and Weight of the car can someone guesstamate what the car would run?
  6. Hey Tim, I know this is an old thread but can you post another vid of your dyno pulls. The old link to Youtube doesn't seem to work. I love that thing because it's a testament to what the L motor is capable of. I've searched quite a bit on most of your threads but didn't see if you stated who did your head work and the extent of it? Would you be willing to share that kind of info with a fellow enthusiast? I want to get mine done but cant make up my mind if I want to use Rebello, Braap, or, 1 fast z, or Sunbelt. My thinking is, a little advice from someone with 600+ WHP can't hurt. I too have an N42 head and a F54 block but I plan on running the stock crank. My main concern is with the head, starting with a competent machine shop and/or porter. Thanks!
  7. Hey Justin, Is it too late to get the matching plenum base for my two flanges already ordered? Also what was the I.D. of the ports on the flange again 1.5" or did you decide on a little larger?
  8. Thats right I remeber seeing that video somewhere on the net. I think he still ran a 9 crosssing the finish line on the roof. He has always had a fast car. When I hear that he was racing Toyota it broke my heart because his 240 was the ♥♥♥♥! Thor do you remeber Craig with the black 69 510 that ran 12.9 on motor 2.4l early KA. Update boys I will be going down to MIA in May. I would love to get together with some old school street fighters if possible. let me know if your in for a reunion.
  9. are you sure that its not diesel? I don't see any valves on the first pics and just a giant injector just like a diesel would?
  10. I dont have my z runnig but I'll hit the pavillions to hang out.
  11. Thank for the link cant wait to see how the parts work for you.
  12. Where can I find more info on the T3 rear stuff mention above?
  13. Dude, it sound like the ECU is not getting the ignition signal to fire the injectors. Page 12 of the Bible. To test it is on page 33. That should get you started. Also check to see if the fuel pump runs when you push open the flap on the AFM, if not that could be why it wont run either. Just follow the steps staring on page 32 and you should figure it out. Plaus you can check the entire system for the ECU plug.
  14. I agree with the above statement, and I also think that it's olny right to let him finish the flanges. Everyone needs a break sometimes. Thanks for the update Justin and I hope that i didn't come off as being impaitient in the last post. Please wish the family the best from the community.
  15. Justin just wondering when we will see some product? I know its a proccess but 6 months is a little much. I wish we would have been warned of the possible delay. Any info. and updates would be great. Thanks!
  16. Thanks Timz for the clarification on the graph information.
  17. Bryan here is a question those flow #'s were taken with the valves in place @ .5 lift right? Is that the standard practice when measuring the "flow" capabilities of a particular head. Great work so far!!!! I live in Phoenix, about 20 mins away from your shop. I was hoping to see the beast in person would that be cool with you after you get it running again.
  18. The part # you stated for the inner bearing is that a part # for purchasing it from Ross or another supplier. If so what supplier? Thanks for the the info. I wish I would have know about it before I purchased the 27 spline units.
  19. hey trwebb26 where did you buy your schedule 40 stock from?
  20. Scottie with the 280z dist. it was just closing a circuit to fire the MSD. That was working to the the distributor cap right? Now you said that with the ZX dist. you wired the "B" on the dist. to the Coil + and then you supplied 12VDC power to the same side of the coil. Then GRN or C on the dist. goes to the coil -. If the module is good it should ground the coil and thus firing it. You can check and groud the coil maunally and see if it fires. In any case it seems like problem still lies in either the cap, rotor, or both.
  21. Lets set a time. I'd like to meet some of the local z guys again. I've been out of the scene for a while.
  22. It also sounds like the slave cyl. or the master cyl. might be suspect too. make sure an test them before you do the swap.
  23. Well thing definately change especially after 10 years. I still go home to visit every year, it would be cool if I could got to one of the hang outs and check out the beast in person. It would be even better if I could take my 240z down and go to the races. When I talk to people here in Phoenix about the races in FL. they are amazed. IMO the racing scene in FL was and is still the best. There were all kinds of cars and most were crazy fast, plus people just wanted to race. None of that car show s@*t. Well keep up the good work, and if you need anything I still have contacts in FL with race shops and parts suppliers.
