  1. No problem. I will take lots of pics to share as I move forward with this. Glad to be working on this car again, after the long hiatus. 3M tape all the way..no drilling of my car. My moto: "let the parts fit the car, not the car fit the parts" Regards - Yasin
  2. Thanks, was going to start on the fiberglasging this afternoon, but got busy with other things. Will keep this thread updated as I make progress. MSA sell a few specific ZX wings, but this one os designed specifically for the S30 chassis. Thanks..www.zcarparts.com (Motor Sports Auto) I will email MSA and see what they say.
  3. Hi Gang - After the recent discussion on the MSA Victory S30 spoiler on the Picture Thread, I decided to buy it and see it if truly will fit the S130. Short answer: "Yes" Long Answer: Will require a little fiberglass work to make it perfect due to the way it is molded. Luckily: 1) I love fiberglass work and 2) I love fiberglass work. For whatever reason is curves on the left side and I will need to fill this in to make it flush with the edge of the hatch, also I will fill in the lock cutout. How does it look: I think it is pretty darn serxxy. Here are some pics to share: Area to be filler with fiberglass and you can see the curve and how it does not line up with the edge of the hatch Warm Regards - Yasin
  4. Ahmad is a Canadian and a Mechanical Engineer by training, he lives in the Toronto area and races at Mosport mostly. His Datsun Z race cars were built by Whitehead Performance (www.whiteheadperformance.com) and he first ran very highly developed NA L6s, then went to a Turbo L6 and now he runs the 4.3L Chevy engine (not Grand National engine). He is quiet and unassuming. I was lucky to do some laps in his newly developed 4.3L 240Z a few years back and the car is brutally fast as per the video. Regards - Yasin
  5. If this one was cut down so the sides just "touched" the rear 1/4s it would look good too, its one eBay right now advertised as a 240Z-280Z spoiler but yet being modeled on a ZX..?
  6. While we are on the topic, I took a look at MSA's offerings for the S130, it has been a while since I visited MSA's store...surprisingly these two hatch spoilers look great... Your thoughts? Yasin
  7. Power Fab do some nice work, but their prices are "up there". Their business has really grown and they have gone from building shitty old Datsuns to building Inconel exhausts for Lamborghinis...same shop rate!
  8. Lindsey - Very cool! I had no idea the S30 / 280Z rear spoiler would fit so well on a S130..I love that look, very tasteful and subtle yet does not take away from the car's lines. Did you mount it using 3M autobody tape or drill the Hatch. Thanks! Yasin
  9. Hope this helps. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/80450-280zx-owners-warning-on-fitment-issues-rota-rb-rbr-wheels-coiloverspics/page__p__763242__hl__%2Brota+%2B__fromsearch__1#entry763242 Please ask any questions. Regards - Yasin
  10. Wow..awesome and inspiring work!! Very impressive skills.
  11. Thanks! I agree the carpet looks outstanding in your car. I also have Corbeaus in my car which look great. Yasin
  12. Sorry to hear this Anthony. I hope you don't have to go through this ever again. If you are in the neighborhood..stop by and hang out. Happy New Year to you and Grand Dad. Regards - Yasin
  13. ZUL8TR - Where did you purchase the new carpet?
  14. Love me some Wonder Woman bro! Thanks for the plug \ bump, and thats the video where I chat about the hood. Funny how my voice sounds like I have a bar of soap in my mouth..laughing. Will call you this weekend. Yasin
  15. Holy cripes!!! Cool....thanks for posting that link Kurk.
  16. Thanks for the compliments bro! You make me blush Please PM me your tel. no, I'll call you this weekend to further discuss....you have me excited! I have been driving around without the front bumper and hood for a few years - with no issues. The hood needs to go on, as it is a beautiful full carbon fiber piece made by Beta Motorsports and is too nice to not show off a little, if you do a seach for slownrusty on YouTube I have a video on the hood. Thanks!! Wow..sweet..love the paint, colors and 2-tone...looking forward to updates.
  17. An oil cooler is really recommended with a thermostat, especially with TX heat and traffic. I would shy away from using some old junk yard cooler and buy something brand new, there are lots of great choices from Permacool, Summit Racing etc for relatively little money. You will spend some money on fittings \ hoses and fabricating some brackets to make it look neat and mount it securely. To make it easier go with brass push lok NPT fittings and push lok compatible rubber hoses. Regards - Yasin
  18. Thanks guys! I have done a few little things since those pictures including adding some Hella horns and re-installed my front parking \ turn signal lights, after being off the car for 4-years. I have also removed the rear bumper and going to repaint it and clean up the rear of the car. Yasin
  19. Absolute pish-posh. I hydraulicly modelled my intercooler which is a cross flow design and the pressure drop was minimal somewhere less than 0.1psi...please don't comment if you do not have a clue.
  20. Reviving this thread..sorry for shameless plug...some pictures taken at a local show I went to, first time taking my ZXT out since I moved to Houston Enjoy!
  21. I would be interested depending on the picture printed on the T-Shirt
