  1. Sorry, I meant within the first 5-10 years.
  2. Just do your best that once you graduate to get your Professional engineering liscense right away. You forget so much if you try and do it later and it makes a difference in your pay.
  3. Yeah his price seemed to be good to be true for a T4. That's why I was very interested in contacting him.
  4. Big difference in price between: http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/garrettt4to4e.html (819.00) http://www.speedshopthagard.com/garrett/TO4E.html (689.00) At least for us cheap folks! 130.00 is alot. But thanks for that link.
  5. OUCH! Not good... Dr hunt, which route did you go?
  6. I know the website, http://www.speedshopthagard.com/ Phone number no longer works and I think he moved to Anderson, SC per his signature address. Sent a PM to him but it looks like his last post was a few months ago (7/14). He last visited a week ago. Had some questions on the TO4E turbo on his web page.
  7. That is steep for 5500, unless there really is no rust and the paint is pretty good.
  8. I know this sucks for you, but I learned something through your crisis! Thanks for keeping us up to date.
  9. Good advice on the trailer. I still bought the car but had to make two trips when I got mine. If it still has the mechanical pump, bring a gallon of fresh gas and some extra hose and run it to the gallon. I would say 5 year old gas will not let you hear it run. Either way it might not run if the carbs are gummed up too, but one less thing to deciphere.
  10. Why not do an instructional video and sell those instead? You do the video once and your done. Then sell support via phone at a fee? That way when it doesn't work because the owner screwed it up you get paid! And of course there is always version two and three and four of your video. 1. Video one: Wiring and Sensors 2. Video two: Turbos and intercoolers 3. Video three: Specific applications to the 240,260, 280, 510 Reason I mention this is I'm into Surfing. I wanted to build a surfboard myself. There were specific videos that I bought showing you materials and how to's. After I was done watching them, I decided not to do it. But the creater of the video still got paid! I'm not one for spelling either, sorry if I came across snotty.
  11. It appears all 70-73 State side bumpers had the bumper guards.
  12. What kind of a price are we talking about? I could probably find a way to ship it. Sorry a little drunk form a party.
  13. How much for the front clip? Mine is munched and I've been debating on fixing it? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=118723
  14. Also on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-73-Datsun-240Z-Tail-Light-Panel-Trim-Nissan-OEM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ140708QQihZ010QQitemZ200165303081QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  15. My thought is you make the system plug and play that would suite most stock Z enthusiast who want better performance. Produce something that is easy for you to make and even easier for the customer to install themselves and increase their performance. Ebay is your best bet for what the market will pay. May I suggest that in the future you use returns when you write. That was incredibly difficult to read.
  16. Did you check your thermostat? Meaning it was working properly and the bubbles you saw weren't from overheating? Sometimes the guage can be misleading. Mine was doing that put a new 160 thermostat in and it ran like a champ.
  17. What strange is it doesn't have the holes for the bumper guards, but does have the holes for the rubber strips.
  18. I searched to find nothing... I've got a center bumper section without the holes for the bumper guards. I know 73 had them and I thought 72, but not sure when this started. Is this a euro bumper center? Thanks! Strange, this 70 for sale has the bumper guards. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-Datsun-240z-For-parts-or-restoration_W0QQitemZ300162406311QQihZ020QQcategoryZ6763QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
