Congrats on sale Brian! Still wondering who would be that lucky guy getting it. It didnt work out for me since i had this 280z that i was going to sell in meant time but it didnt work as fast as i planned so now i am just going to build an RB Z car. One day il get KGC10 for my self.
I think you have it pretty much figured out on what you want. Since the Hakosukas would be pretty expensive in pristine condition to find and then you would need to grab a decent RB motor for a rebuild not to mention that all the footwork would need to be setup for track. I think that KGC10 would be a better choice in youre project/race car/street car. Since the R32 would be i deal weapon of choice for track use and the money. If you could get one as cheap as you say you can.
Personally i would love to see you with a Red hakosuka and an RB31 rather then a bit exhausted R32.
In conclusion, i would say go with youre budget and pursuit youre dream car.

depends what you are looking for. I've owned both, a track 350z and an auto G35c. The Z is definitely more of a sports car, but the G coupe is pretty close, and offers many more creature comforts.
Yeah i defenatlly agree that G-35 is the best way to go. My friend work at the Nissan dealership and i have driven every 350z he could possibly take including the track editiong and the 25th anniversary edition. I really liked the 25th editiong since it had these very nice seats in it and i think it only came in colors yellow and red. By far the track edition is the only one that really impressed me, handling wise and brembos. But any G-35 is basiclly the same only its not as stiff as the 350z.
If i would be you, just wait a bit and grab the 07 GTR:2thumbs:

When you see the rear wheels spin that means they used torque split converter to trasfer more torque to the rear.
Can we post these vids or any sort of thing like this in Non Tech forum since thats were they belong, just for the future refrence.

Yeah its the same car that was on ebay awhile ago. Oh yeah i think its also on classifield here. This is very good dead for some one, maybe 3 more grand to make this car where its should be.

Huh! Intresting thread, i allways had this question for Alex with the dash coversion, WHY??? I could see it being cool and all but the S30 dash is so much better, other then the center consule and the amont of work that you have to put in it. Well any how wasnt there a guy on here name Amir that build his own dash? That one looked cool. I mean unless youre going to do RHD conversion from whatever it will be S30, S130 or 240sx. I think its just of waste of time, since you got to relocate the handbrake and cut the dash. Just make a custom dash then like some of the customers from Vildini.

What is the fuel cell that you are using in youre Z which one is it, if you got dimension on it. Just wondering what to put in my car. I like that Vortec cell but its too much $$$.

Very impressive 9 should pretty good goal for the RB25 with NOS sky is only the limit since HP is never enough.

Awhile back i have seen an RX-7 it was an FD though with a 2jz motor swap. It was an SP car if remeber correctlly and if they can fit 2jz motor in that thing, you can put an RB in with no problem. The only thing that you should research well is the Tranny since you got only 2 choices which is RB20 vs RB25 tranny. Just be ready to cut, weld and fabricate.

Thats a shame to see this tips me off very badly. When i was selling my car i was dealing with scamers for like 2 weeks. They sent me a check and everything. Obviouslly the check didnt clear and i lost $5 on deduction of dead check. Fuc$%g scamers!!!

So i see that you learn a bit by bit that time will show. I just dont understand why are you going to go and by a SRT-4 with 50k on it and then 2 weeks down the road a headgasket will blow and then what. Here we go again sound the same as sentra. Only that SRT-4 will cost you somewhere around 10k atleast and then more money to fix...Cmon man face it its a dodge GM. Why cant you just go out and look for some Honda Civic, Accord whatever it is it will last. I have one with 135k on it and it runs just like new and it will untill 200k. Just think what you can do with alot $$$ and youre Z.
