  1. All i could say is avoid Gary IN at all cost. I drove by once by a mistake, got off the highway and ****. I didnt even wana stop at the stop signs thinking of my car probably would get taken apart in no time. So no Gary IN trust me on that one!

  2. Oh man thats some craftsmanship. That very unique the way he designed it. It almost looks like the 510 but the body lines of Hakosuka, thats just my judgement. I like the idea of running the cage thru the whole car and the coilovers those things were probably a paint in the a$$ to design and fit not to mention that they go thru the hood for easy adjustment to be made.

But really what kind of car frame, or chassis did he use?

I give him 100+++ on scale to 10. Very impressive and great quality work.

  3. Personally i think that the clunky L series motors are good just with one exception, just like Jon said the fuel injected L28 just suck. I had my car for awhile now andn i have been driving it around and around untill one of my injectors went bad. Replased 2 weeks later another one is leaking. You get the point. Chane the freaking thing.

And as far is taking long trips i have been about 400 miles one way and then about 450 the other way and it did fine, i just noticed that once in litle awhile it overheats. Not bad but the temp gauge just raises up a bit. The only thing is that the stock seats, and most of you will agree with me on that one. Thay they suck, i hurt my back in them for sitting in them for more then an hour.

  4. Wow you guys are amazing, i dont really know why someone will prefer the L28T over an SR20 or something the cost is about the same and there is a hell lot of parts for the SR20.

But one of a kind swap is allways good, "correction" 2 of a kind now. LOL!!!

  5. Yeah the peperming is great color choice but its very neutrual, I also have seen in person on a Z. My car was originally painted 304 gold which was ok but it was original paint and had faded and cracked from the sun. I am going to go with 920 gold its a bit brighter and has like a yellow tint to it very eye appealing. Or my other idea was to paint it like the 97 Toyota Supra Saphire pearl blue.

  6. Yeah, don't let the Pinks crew give you an accurate representation of Hybridz. Hybridz is an intelligent forum. Nevermind those phuckoffs you saw on TV - they don't know the first thing about building a car. In fact, here's a quote from one of the administrators:

So if you could, for the benefit of yourself and everyone else on this board, just forget that episode ever took place.

We all feel a bit salty about that race but, I think that they did a great job on running their car. It was the host Rich that made up the last negotiation and thats how they lost. Thats just my tought as many times as i have seen the episode.

  7. Nagasaki motors told me that they would switch out for an RB25 tranny at no extra cost... so it does include a tranny. I'm just of the opinion that maybe it isn't the greatest deal. Sorry if I seemed negative.

You can call all these places out many many times. Unless you know and trust this place that has some reputation or has some good feedback. Most of the importers dont even want to deal with RB26 these days, one is that the motor is becoming very scarce for the R33 and R34 RB26 series and cost have gone up. Most of the R32 are still not bad, but who want an R32 high millage motor for $5k that you dont even know what it has been thru. So what the importers here willing to offer is most likelly to be an R32 ranging around $3600-5000 with an AWD tranny. I just dont know where some of you find these prices. People who have done this swap before and a few years back paild allmost over $6k for a full motor swap. Prices still didnt change much.

As for cyrus, i think that you shouldnt have to struggle to sell youre motor. Its worth every nickle and dime since you got a bunch of accessories to go with it. The tranny part is hard, but if you could source one out it should be a solid sale.
