Challenger

Been planning on makeing a front lip for some time and finally got around to making a template out of a type of pressboard. Propped up the board and used a pencil to trace the curve. Cut it out then moved it out ~3.5 inches. Used the same method for doing the corner. So whats everyone think I should make the final lip from? Id like to do metal but I dont want something really heavy. Maybe a large piece of fg? Where could you get something like that? Whatever I use it will have braces holding it up.

The straping has a rounded edge at the front so it wont go through. I took this into consideration and the way its made under a heavy impact the braces will rotate sideways.... atleast thats the plan.

Both, the urethane isnt very rigid and at high speed it starts to flex. Hopefully this paired up with my radiator enclosure (see sig) the front end will stay on the ground.

Sure Ill get some dimensions, but I wouldnt go out and make one based on them... might not fit.

Well after seeing a picture of I believe Yorgee's airdam pushed up against the radiator I thought it would be smart to reinforce mine. Ill remove the photo if their any copyright infringement... I made it from strap steel from the local hardware store. ($7.00) Heres it mounted from the bottom. Mounts to two holes already in the radiator subframe. I believe they were for the valance? Mounts tight up against the inside of the airdam with small pieces of rubber (front bumper to bumper bracket gasket ). From the top.

Came in this morning. Looks really nice. Wasnt able to install anything because I was putting in sound deadening.
