Finally got it installed!....on the passenger floor and trans. tunnel.
So far it went on well. Using just a hair dryer in the high 40's (reccomends over 50 degrees) it adhered great and after a day in the cold I cannot remove it. Im hoping to get atleast the left side done tomorrow in time for when my carpet arrives.
*Looks alot better in person*
From several small expiriments you can hear the difference. The eDead removes all of the tinny sound and makes the floor feel alot more solid. Im really happy with it.
Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Just press hard. But it still wouldnt snap in. The clips are plastic so they wount bend and hold the shape like a metal clip.
I concluded that the vinyl and metal wasnt thick enough for the clicks to hold on to so Ill have to build up the edge in the metal opening. Ill get back with results.
Im in the process of putting the rear headliner panel into place and I cant seem to get the light to snap into place. Anyone have this issue? Ive been working on it for an hour and am getting frustrated!
Ahhhh. Then dont use it.
Wire wheel was really good for me. Takes off the paint, and leaves the metal. Just watch out for all the little wires shooting into skin and clothing.
I witnessed a similar situation, driving by one of the huge massive corporation churches and a old toyota wagon flys around the corner in front of us and a lady jumps out of the door and rolls across the street. She gets up and walks away and the guy follows her telling her to get in the car...
I just finished Deja Vu, really good movie, just dont watch it with your mom, girlfriend, sister... anyone that has a hard time following a story, or has to ask questions.
Obviously the easiest way would be to find a key fob with a blank key then rekey that to the datsun code. Whichever works. Im going to look into getting a blank, Ill stop by a dealership.
Or find yourself a switchblade key fob, take it apart and see if you can splice the datsun key in.
