  1. You can always use multiple felpro gaskets stacked.

I don't remember all of the details on the process, but I remember something about using copper spray between them. A quick search will bring it up I'm sure.

Then again, the member doing this was also using emery cloth to bring down the thickness of the piston crown. He did have a motor with a serious kick-ass reputation though. I wish I could remember his screen name!

Then again, it isn't a widespread solution, so I'm sure there is some sort of implication with the method.

That would be norm (that 12 second S.U. guy). It is a shame he is gone from the forum, but he had a lot of good tech posted here around 2004-2005 IIRC. Stacked $20 headgaskets is the least of his genious contribution, but that engine DID detonate (too much compression). Just search for norm.
  2. That is the one, I went buy there and I thought "this thing would be perfect for RHD conversion". I'm glad that it went to a good cause. Do you have the wheels that were on it. I might be interested in those.

  3. ...

Examples of 6 cylinders with TT:

    Nissan 300zx

    Nissan Skyline

    Nissan GTR

    Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO

    Toyota Supra

    Audi S4/A6/RS6

    Volvo S80

    BMW 335i

    Porsche 911...

GREAT TIMES!!!!, but, in Argentine, there aren´t a model 280ZX TURBO(L28ET)...

The L28 NA is the only way for start...

Thanks for the list, obviously proving that two turbos are better than one, always, everytime, in other words "the best".

And since there is no factory l28et in your home market you should have to have a custom one off expensive twin turbo manifold, because the factory nissan ones are never on ebay for $50-$75 u.s.d.

Now I see that you are right, and all the posters above that told you to search because the information is out there (if not on this very site) were so blatantly wrong.

Keep up the good work. We are all looking forward to your 5 year, $5000, 250hp turbo build. I can't wait!

  4. I have an aluminum spacer with a 240sx tb mounted, throttle linkage modded, intake match ported, custom steel afm pipe (so you don't have to mess with miss matched rubber and vacuum leaks). It has three newer injectors. The whole thing for sale for $200.

  5. You CAN run sqaure port headers on round exhaust ports. Look it up on this forum, it has been done many times. I have 3-4 of these heads laying around if you want one. $200 plus shipping, don't worry about paypal fees.

  6. Funny thing about my timing is I was gonna give you a call Friday on the way home from work, but I was dog tired. One hit of that quervo and I'd have been worthless. It's good to hear its coming together though, and fantastic that the ignition is sorted. I'll try to get out there in the next couple of weeks (not this weekend though... anniversary) for one of those break in rides.

  7. Racers on both coasts prefer Sunbelt in Flowery Branch, GA. They are a race shop. But any trustworthy machine shop can do a stock rebuild. Check out http://bradysenginemachineservice.com/home.html They do really nice work and the last time I was there they had a couple of L28ET's they where working on. They built a 2jz for a guy I know that put down 1400hp to the wheels. Just call ahead because the get backed up sometimes. Brady's is located in Auburn GA.
