  1. I think the wheel shops call them barrels (the cylinder portion). Call around some shops have decent prices and you can get the offset redone so you can get the deep dish look. Like DeleriousZ said if its a true 3 or 2 piece then the width can be increased. If you can get $100 knocked off I think it would be worth it to keep a old school look.
  2. Ok here are some pics of mine in various stages during my ownership. How it looked when I first got it> fender flares added along with rockers painted to match car and bumper color change, as it looks today> With Watanabes that are waiting to be permanently fitted as soon as I get my coilovers and locking lugs.
  3. Here's a link to those pics http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/05/23/car-spotlight-gt-gt-stealth-240zg.aspx Scroll down and you will see a link to the Photo sharing site that it originally came from. If you know Japanese you should be able to read up on it or use a online translator from google.
  4. Check out the newer BMW M3s as well they have a motorized version of the rear qtr window pop out.
  5. RB30DET. Thanks for the info about the rb30 mounts.
  6. I just talked to Mac at Mckinney Motorsports and he said a few of members here used their rb25/26 kit to do the rb30 swap. For those of you that did use their kit. Did you have to modify it for use with the rb30? Btw. Mac very friendly and willing to share information/knowledge about the swap.
  7. Do you have the electric or manual seat adjust controls? Just curious because I have a set of the electric and was wondering on fit in regards to the controls and or pics.
  8. Love that green 240 with the Watanabes. Is the owner a member here? Oh here is a video of it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb4gp4r_6wg. smiles for miles after seeing this video clip.
  9. Where did you pick up the emblem for the horn button? I would love to get one for my car
  10. I think they look good they have a much better fit than the covers for a gnose. At least they have a flushed clean look. Have you had a chance to test the seal yet? The cover I have for the gnose on my car has a leak on both sides. Someday I will get around to taking them off and redoing the seal. For the most part it stays dry but, I notice a lot more water coming in when I give the car a wash.
  11. Double check that corner light that was bad. I had the same problem and it turned out that it was the connections to the lamp were rusted causing a short. Hopefully that is your culprit.
  12. I sent a email asking Dave at Arizona Z Car if this was true. Here is his response. "They do not change the steering angle, they can be used to increase the angle of the arms for better geometry when the car has been significantly lowered. I have Billet Aluminum Steering knuckles to speed up the steering ratio if that's what you want to do. Dave"
  13. I was watching Top Gear the other day and they had a old 70s Ferrari Daytona (the one that looks a lot like a S30). Anyhow the seats you picked up look very similar to the Daytona seats. You may want to see about getting redone that way. http://www.worlduph.com/ferrari.htm http://www.jngcreations.com/blog/2009/03/ferrari-daytona-custom-seats/
  14. I could not find the part number for the one touch module on A1 Electric's site. Could you post link for it? I think its a must if you are going to have power windows .
  15. First thanks for the right up . Second I'm also curious about the fittings and hard lines. If its not too much trouble could you take a couple more pics of the engine bay a little further out around the compressor? Thanks, Warren
  16. John, When you say "square" are you referencing equal width on wheels and tires front to rear? Just want to make sure i'm understanding this correctly. Warren
  17. The RS Watanabe's I bought need the barrels redone. Some road rash and some dings. So I was thinking about going bigger either 17s or 18s. Then I was thinking about 17s up front and 18s in the rear. My question is for those of you that are running a staggered set like this. Do you have a raked front end or running it level? Doesn't have to be 17s/18s can be 14/15, 15/16, 16/17....whatever. Just would like some feedback good or bad on the idea. Pics would be great if anybody has them and or any comments on how the car handles like this.
  18. Guess that didn't work. The pics are too large to attach so here is a link to my flickr set http://www.flickr.com/photos/7136506@N02/sets/72157612834938184/

    Seat re-covering

Sorry I don't have a price for you but, thought these pics would go good here. If I could find someone that can duplicate this work on these seats I would gladly pay for it.

  21. Don't forget to check the bulbs and/or connections to your marker/parking lights. I had one with a rusty connection that was causing a short and issues with the turn signals and brake lights.
  22. What are you running for you head lights? They can't be stock. I like the LED upgrade on your tail lamps also.
  23. They are 16x8 front, 16x8.5 rear. Since no one wants to guess -30 on the offset. I will have to do some cut some of the fender when I lower it. as far as flares go I shouldn't have problems up front if I stay with the 8 inch width. The rears will be pretty tight. I want to stretch the rear out to at least 9 inches but, I don't plan on going big engine mods so 8 1/2 should be more than enough to lay the power to the ground.
  24. :eek2: Whoa!!!! that is low. That would be one rough ride. Thanks though. Its cool to see how it would look at that height.
