  1. Use this stuff, http://noddle.customer.netspace.net.au/My_240K/Extractors/100_3950-800.jpg "Ranex Rust Buster", it worked wonders on my extractors before, and after http://noddle.customer.netspace.net.au/My_240K/Extractors/100_3951-800.jpg and http://noddle.customer.netspace.net.au/My_240K/Extractors/100_4066-800.jpg
  2. Try a Library, thats where I'm getting my copy from, cant afford the $75 AUS they want for it here in Australia, since you can buy it for $23 US from amazon.
  3. This one would fit a L series engine ( T24 B1 ) http://www.datrats.com.au/OS%20GIKEN%20ENGINES.htm about half way down
  4. I used to work for a mechanic, and we fitted a L28 into a Mazda ( 2 door 626 or 929, cant remember the model), that was like 16 years ago, went like a rocket, triple SU's, extractors, 5 Speed, upgraded front Disc, had to shorten the tail shaft, modify the front sway bar. very nice indeed it was..
  5. Use what Roger said to get the Dizzy set up, I'm not sure what Distributor setup is in your car, i.e. points / electronic, but if its point why not "Static" time it, it should be enough for you to get the car running, here a link I found, its for MG cars, but the theory is the same, http://www.custompistols.com/cars/articles/ignition_timing.htm also if its a electronic dizzy, you should be able to do simular to this, but without the light, but when you turn the dizzy, you should be able to hear it "spark", to indicate what the timing is..
