  1. I have a 3.15 LSD I've been thinking of getting rid of, but it ain't cheap. I was hoping to use it with my 2JZ R154 project but it's looking bleak. PM me if you're interested.
  2. Pretty soon he'll be able to attach another 2JZ to the front to have an L12 and 2000HP!
  3. Right on. Here's a chart to help out. IMDSLY1's one post wonder demonstrated a fundamental misunderstanding of wheel measurements.
  4. I think you mean +17 and +38, right? Looks great! Any rubbing issues anywhere? EDIT: according to DR's own site, they only offer those wheels in positive offsets. It's interesting you bought a +38 front and put a 10mm spacer on it when they offer a +28 wheel. What's the story with this and your setup otherwise? In other words, how did you end up with 5x114.3 bolt patterns?
  5. LOL. That sucks. Did you feel there was something wrong driving it around? Or did you or someone just see it?
  6. Where's a facepalm smilie when you need one? You can MAKE them pay for it or repair it. Doesn't matter what their policy is. Threaten to take it to small claims; report it to the Better Business Bureau.
  7. It doesn't really matter. Have you not told them they need to pay for a repair or a new wheel?
  8. You make them pay for repairs or for a new wheel.
  9. So sneaky no one would have noticed and, therefore, ineffective.
  10. The video description explained that, I believe.
  11. 150mph is pretty impressive. Even Expert CMRA motorcycle racers barely crack 150 by the finish line on their liter bikes, but they are running the track counter-clockwise. T1 is a much higher speed turn than T15
  12. That settles it, then: function over form. Though one can hardly tell when seeing how beautiful it all is. <-- that's a compliment
  13. And that's ugly, too! Awesome. I can't believe it started up with that slip fit on there. I'm pumped to see some video for sure!
  14. I don't have a problem with its functionality. Did I communicate that? Aesthetics, that's all. Never on a high-end exhaust have I seen slip fits. They've all been butt welding or similar so it looks close to one piece with fancy welding connecting each. The rest of the exhaust is butt welded but the wastegate pipe has a slip fit. I keep reading what I've written wondering if I wrote something else because of the responses I'm getting. Candor is exactly how I am. There was no attitude to speak of. <--- See? Expressionless. EDIT: I think this is where the confusion came in: "Look bad" was the operative phrase, to which I responded "just the slip fitting(s)." I'll shut up now.
  15. It's not the welds themselves, it's the slip fit pipes.
  16. It's a given that I think this is all amazing, but that exhaust is still perplexing. It looks like something I'd make.
  17. That's exactly what I was thinking, except maybe one could be fabricated out of billet aluminum or something cool like that. Looks easy to me.
  18. He doesn't care. That thing isn't going anywhere for awhile.
  19. Merry Christmas! If I could give Jesus one car, it would probably be that.
  20. Or, as has been said a few times in this thread, just get the 4G63-to-R154 adaptor. $400 for the bellhousing, etc. I think there are some other custom bellhousings made by the same guy for T56, W58, other. Last I checked, they were all for the narrow-block 4G63's found in the Eclipse, Talon, some Might Max all the way up to like '99.
  21. Fortunately, there are a couple adaptors for RWD setups. One converts to, I believe, a GM auto tranny (TH350?) and another, which I had, mated the Toyota Supra Turbo's R154 5spd. The same guy who made the R154 adaptor made one for the Toyota W58 and was working on the GM T56, last I checked in.
