  1. It's listed on his site: http://www.betamotorsports.com/products/products.php?cat=4
  2. I don't think bumping it will get you an update any quicker than when he's ready. He's been great about updating us fully and in a timely manner.
  3. This thread should be pruned again because, I do suppose, this is still a lot of posts to wade through to find this information, despite it having been posted multiple times.
  4. ES300's are FWD and come with V6's.
  5. I don't think it matters for the S30 guys because we need a rear sump pan and the RB26 AWD oil pan is a front sump. Right?
  6. Twitter is pointless for private individuals on a daily basis. It can be a powerful tool for companies who need to advertise last minute sales or someone like ESPN or CNN or even private individuals setting up parties or other quick scheduling. There's very little sensible use otherwise.
  7. "If you've come within 10%, you've done a great job." The calculations may be reasonable, but hoping for 10% is not accurate enough for me to care - I can guess a car's weight within 10% just by looking at it.
  8. Check it anyway. I've messed with some L28's that idled fantastic - or so it seemed - and then I found out the plug wires were incorrectly connected.
  9. I think that's a great guess. That idea was on the tip of my brain but couldn't get it out.
  10. Did I really just watch a 15 second ad before watching your video!?
  11. You said it was fine until 2500 RPM, which isn't idle.
  12. Cool. I've heard the new Ninja-6's are incredible. I'm eyeballing a 2004 GSXR750 track bike right now but I really like kicking liter bike butt on the track with the SV. Here's a video of me crashing on the Dragon a few years ago - And pictures from there:
  13. I never really post about my motorcycle exploits but I thought you guys might be interested. Here's the link to the video of my tank slapper and offroad adventure, followed by a couple more laps at MSR Houston (Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Raceway). The truth is I was feeling really "off" that day so my riding was choppy, but I was still running good times. I fully expect to drop another 3-5 seconds off my fast time at the next event there. I'm already running consistent ~1:54's on the ol' SV650 (32k miles and relatively stock); I'm faster than a lot of guys on 600ss and liter bikes. Hopefully these pictures will continue to be hosted by the amateur that took them, but I'll be downloading them to my computer soon. These are both coming into T17 and T16, Sugar and Spice (we run it backwards), shortly before apexing. Track map - http://msrhouston.com/msrhouston/trackmap.asp It's not the most dramatic shot because of the angle (looks like I'm hiding behind the bike), but it is interesting. Similar but separate lap, I believe.
  14. That's what I thought, but I decided to give them enough benefit of my doubt they were just testing out the chute.
  15. That could do it. Congrats! Now get to work, starting with checking the timing.
  16. It's time you write me into your will. I'm glad you're okay, though, so you can still write me into your will.
  17. The cross-sectional area and the volume aren't the whole story. Two things missing from the equation are heat and friction in each of the setups. I don't know fluid dynamics well enough to expound further while retaining written coherence so I'll leave it at that for now.
  18. My experience is different. I bought a 4" in/dual 3" out and was extremely disappointed to find the inside pipe is actually closer to 3.5" and the outlets are about 2.5" and the welds and transitions are disgusting... really, disgusting. Fortunately, my plans changed a bit and I can make this work for me but I'm still upset about it.
  19. For such a sweet (possibly) car, that sure is a crappy ad. Four small pictures and not much detail. Seems he didn't build it himself, though he's owned it for 9 years
  20. Mike, I don't see anywhere that you responded to stony's suggestion to check your timing. I believe timing was the exact same reason streetfighter's 2JZ kept overheating when he first got it going. It would start up and run fine so we had plenty of time to hunt down the issue but we never checked the timing; a week of frustration for him as he finished up other parts and he finally got Justin Ninny(?) to recheck the base tune and found the timing was all out of wack. The overheating stopped and he picked up over 100HP or so before they really got to work on the tuning.
