  1. i see, i just dont like the idea of drilln holes into a flywheel thats spinning so fast...
  2. i would think that would work...but why go through the time of gettn the holes matched when a 1jz flywheel bolts right up? or did i miss read u?
  3. with betamotorsports crossmemeber you dont even need a shifter extension.. mine fits perfectly in the stock location. i have a 2jzgte with a r154 the list you need~ 1jz bell housing to mate to the r154 1jz clutch/flywheel 2jz pilot bearing (autos dont come with it) 2jz throw out bearing then

I plan on taking it to jeffery chin who does all the tuning for team Falkon! OH AND YES MORE VIDEOS PLEASE!!!! maybe some pulls on the freeway ?
  8. well i have thought about gettn a old wiring harness...but i want to do it one by one because i had wiring problems with the other harness...so i really want to go through the whole wiring one by one to make sure i dont have any problem areas... plus i want to run the wires through the frame and hide everything as best i can..
  9. i was wondering if the speed cable would hook up!!!! thats awsome...one less thing to worry about LOL..as for the wiring..i think im going to have to run everything one by one
  10. Alright...im not getting down to starting the car up...What did you guys do as far as wiring? are there diagrams out there that can help me mate the 2jz into my car?????? and what about the interior stuff? i took out the engine wiring harness and sold that with my l28? did that screw myself?

  13. does anyone make rear diffusers yet!???
  14. i am going to do that john..i was checking out the area by the clutch pump. Im thinkning of mounting the ecu there in a box and running the HKS systems off that intot he car. As for the r154..yes i do expect the trany to blow up...but they have held 700hp with no issues in supras and lexus's both weight 1000lbs more the the Z.
  15. ok ill check it out...one thing im doing now is the wiring harness..where the heck do i put the computor?? the wires all go to the drivers side instead of the pass side.
  16. i have no idea what im going to do with the rear end....right now im just trying to get the car mobile...it has a r200 long nose in it and if i weld it i wont have to worry about breaking it...but then again i dont really want to risk gettn sideways on a freeway with a welded diff at 100mph....sooo im prob goign to find a 1.5 lsd set up.
  17. Its a duel ceramic ball bearing...so its supposed to be the fastest spooling turbo Turbonetics has ever made. The GTK series is thier Highest end turbo... AS for the trottle body..i dont know how its goin to affect everything.
  18. I ask the company who made it (wotm) and they said it will be fine..what could i do if i feel i need to?
  19. ALRIGHT GUYS THE WHOLE DRIVETRAIN IS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my clutch from HKS Monday of this week (after waiting FRIGGN 3 MONTHS for it!!!) I got the clutch and all the instructions were in japanese..wooohh good times! Anyways after figureing out the clutch and buying all the bearings and little parts i assembled the clutch and put the r154 on yesterday. Today i got two of my buddies to help me put it in...it took about 4 hours of wrestling and completely cutting off the stock trans months on the tunnel. soooo the motor is FINALLY IN and DOESNT need to come back out !!!! IM SO HAPPY here are the pics i took today.
  20. GOOD EYE..this is true! it cost the same as the smaller versions and it leaves me open to a bigger turbo.
  21. its turbonetics new GTK series turbo... its a duel CERAMIC ball bearing (not just regular ball bearings). 76mm turbo with a t4 flange..they said it can do 40psi+, i dont plan to go over 35
