I went to a U-Pull-It place in KY this weekend and tore out the stopwatch gauge from a 280ZX since i though it was cool, ive never seen that kind of thing on a car. But i was thinking how to make it work with my 240, obviously id have to get another pod to put it in, but how does the gauge work? I was in a rush and tore off the circuit board, but i still have the wires on the gauge, do i just plug them into a power source or did i need that circuit board? Thanks for any help

It bothers me that i cant think of a single thing that makes my Z different from any other one, other than the fact im lucky enough to be restoring it with one of my best friends and my dad, or maybe no one else has sand blasted all of their misc. brackets and crossmembers and then painted them with primer, black paint and then two coats of truck bed liner....

Thrice has been one of my fav bands for awhile, and this is one of their new songs: Come All You Weary If you can get past the obvious religious undertones, i think it really is a great song, i cant wait for their new album!!! Quite an ugly 240SX:icon56: , but IMO this looks like a pretty nice green The Work Equip wheels are all over eBay now, but they are almost always in 4x100 n the ones i saw in 4x114.3 had offsets designed for fwd cars

I might be the only one to argue this, but i have the new IE and i think it works better than when i had my Firefox. For me, some pages wouldnt load with Firefox, and with the new IE, they worked just fine. Also FYI, if ne one didnt know, the new IE7 has the tab feature like firefox does

Ive also thought about blues, but for some reason i think Z's just look better in a red or orange color. But for the blues ive thought of are the 350Z Daytona Blue , or the Skyline Midnight Blue (Some people call it Bayside Blue) Id frankly just rather have this car ^.^ While browsing IS300.net to find help for my car, i came across a color called Intensa Blue Pearl, which IMO looked great too Also, what are ur guys feelings on painting the front and rear bumpers black, instead of leaving them chrome?

Yea i remeber seeing that in one of the past issues. Thanks for the suggestion:p , but i also forgot to mention that im trying to stay away from white, black, grey, silver, etc. But that car does look sick!

Im about ready to tear apart my 240Z and put on all the parts I bought for it, and Im going to change the color down the line with the car. When the engine is out, im going to spray the bay with what color i choose, but spray the rest of the car at a later time. Right now, its the butterscotch/gold Datsun factory color, and I was thinking of painting it the dark orange/almost red Datsun color with a CF hood. Some of my friends are now saying that they think that the car will looks weird with such a color contrast due to the CF hood, but there is no way for me to sell it and break even on the hood:icon50: . Do any of you guys have suggestions on what colors would look good on the car with the CF hood on it? Im also going to use Hashino gold mesh wheels on the car. Thanks for any suggestions
