I am confused........ If You do not apply loctite the bolts will come loose at 30mph ............. were these solid engine mounts ?Sorry I am stupid maybe that is why it don't make sense to me.

N42 Block - N42 head - LD28 cranck - 9mm L16 conrods - KA24 pistons 89mm - adapter on front of the cranck with a BMW damper - ARP head , rod and main bolts - 1mm Headgasket - This is what I have.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117468

Hi there A little update . I received my new high volume oil pump , oil pump drive shaft and drive gear from Summit Racing.The block has been bored and cleaned for the rod's to turn.Engin builder is currently making a front damper an fitting the trigger pick up to the damper. Next will be the flywheel lightening and then he will start balancing everything.

Thank You for the info. My engine builder said He will get 2 sets if it is the case that only one halve has the groove. Hmm and I must pay.

Hi to everyone I would like to know if ACL main bearings have the oil groove in both halves of the bearing or just in the one halve. Thank You Joe

My engine builder also did not use the brass bushing .He cut oil grooves in the small end. Only time will tell if it was the right thing to do . my 2c

Hi there I made a big mitake when i had my garages build.As You know i am from South Africa and we work with metre's not feet. Am I correct in saying 28ft = +- 8.5m .......if so look at the lenth of the garage . Mine is 9m long and it is a big problem to fit 2 E30 BMW's behind each other .they fit but we have to push them in by hand the last bit to toutch the wall and the second one to go against the bumper of the first one. i also have a markV cortina wich cannot fit with one of the BM's in a row Thank's Joe Coetzee
