Alot of time the forks get twisted in the clamps after a digger. Try loosening the tripple clamps and relieve the tension and tighten them back up.You will have to jack the bike up off the ground to do this. Make sure both fork legs are the same height above the top tripple clamp when you tighten them back up. If it is actually bent then look for bike salvage parts in adds in the back of streetbike magazines and call around. Bummer it happened...the same thing happened to me years ago at night when turning and hitting rocks in the road. I ended up high siding and totaled the bike.

You could run a line to one of the intake manifold ports to your wastegate if you want too instead,or tape a line into the compressor.

Man,I love the pictures of your car. I finally got my car running right again. I was at my whits end with it. It was busting up at 5000 and I replaced everything.Datalogged and sent info to Haltech and they didnt know. I started throwing parts at it and the MAP sensor fixed it. Time to turn the boost up and run it at the track in about a week or so. We will get the cars together some time for a twin sibling reunion.

Be very careful who you purchase the pump from.There are Chinese knockoffs everywhere! I got one on Ebay new and was told it was a Bosch. Well it wasnt and I contacted the seller and said I would give good feedback if allowed to return it. Had no problems returning,just lost time in the process. BEWARE!

What do you guys recommend for gear oil for the CLSD? I've used the Royal Purple before and it says it has the limited slip additive in there, so was wondering if that is enough, or what "cocktail" you all use Mayolives recommended Synergyn gear oil to me. I have had good results from this . I use it in my trans and diff. Noticed the trans shifted a whole lot better. A benefit is you dont have to use any friction modifier.

I got some bulbs from autozone that have LEDs in them. There are about 9 or 10 per bulb. They make one way and two way bulbs,pretty pricy,about $17 for two but worth it. They are much brighter!

Well i rebuilt my lsd. Its alot quieter,but still whines at 50mph while dipping in and out of the throttle.I now know i need a new ring and pinion. It has a 12mm ring gear.Does anyone have a good R&P for sale 3.5 or 3.7? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

That paint on the weisman car looks like a flat paint. I would have gone that route on my z but I had already comitted myself to the paint im using on my car. Do a search on Yahoo and some will come up, one of the venders sells paint on Ebay and all primers for it. The flat base paints look awsome and are easily repairable if get scratched.

I was using gasket remover while rebuilding a motorcycle engine. I nelt down while working and sat on the top of the spray can,soaking a tennis ball size circle on my rear. At first it felt real cold, I assumed it was WD40 and reached back and knocked the can away and proceded to work. About 3o seconds was all it took to start burning my ass in a bad way. I ran in the house pulling my pants down in the process, wife was on the phone and just had a look of astonishment. After getting out hte shower I had a large blistered spot on my rear. Used diaper rash creme for a couple of days, figured had 2nd degree burns. It still gets brought up in conversation today.

I have the oportunity to buy a 91 turbo supra. The only problem is the timing belt is broken. Does anyone know if it wasted the valvetrain? I wanted some knowledge before I drove to check it out and do a leak down test on it. Thanks.

I work on motorcycles, so I know what you are going through. Get a small pair of channel loc pliers and loc on the head of the screw. Comes off every time. If not apply heat. Hope that helps.

Go to www.frozenboost.com. They sell silicon piping to do your whole intercooler piping. No welding or fabricating neccessary, just cut and attach. Silicone is least resistant to heat soak than even alluminum. This is how I am doing my set up. Oh the silicone piping is tested up to 150 psi, so should be up to the job.

I know its the rb engine/ forum but I just ordered a GTK-500 for my l28. Its from what ive been told a redesigned 60-1, 62-1 compressor wheel.

I was told there was enough clearance with stock perches. I guess I will be checking after work.

Hey I got a set of watanabe RS 16x9.5 (-19) and 16x9.0(-13) from 240z Master. Im getting to the point in my build were I need to mount the wheels for fender flare fitment. Im running stock spring perches with 1" lowering springs. Does anyone have any idea what tire sizes would be for best fitment? What brand of tires do you recommend? Thanks
