    Be sure to pay good attention to the bottom of the front fenders near the rocker panels. 240Z have a drain tube from the cowel area the exits the body inside the front fenders. Jay Not just a Z - zdisease

    I would put the car on ramps if you have them. zdisease

    If it was my car..... I am 6' 3'' with pretty long arms I would put the car up on solid jack stands Take a drop light and try to reach the hood release from below If you can reach the hood release.... Get a friend to push down on the hood right above the release... now see if you an move the cable that's still attached... maybe a pair of small vice grips Once the hood is open, stop all work and get your friend a beer zdisease

    I am installing Eibach Progressive springs in my 72 240Z. I checked with Eibach..... The spings with the 01 part number are the front spings.... The lighter springs go in the front... Not intuitive to me at all..... zdisease

    A relay is a switch that completes a circuit when you put power to it. You can test the relay using a battery and multimeter. First figure out how to make the relay "click" then check for continuity. zdisease

    I know people who went to 260 heads in order to get fuel injection. The need for fuel injection over SU was due to vapor lock issues.
