  1. Mike, we are a team of designers. I happen to own a 240Z. Let me make something clear to fellow Z people who never owned a JADA diecast before. Our Z will come with Watanabe style wheels but you can easily replace them with wheels of your choice from another JADA diecast. That`s what we are known for. Any JADA car is easily customized. Switching wheels takes about 3 minutes. As for colors. Hopefully there will be about 8-10 different colors and some Hobby editions with graphics. You won`t be disappointed. We`ll give you more than you expected for less than you can imagine. ERIC
  2. I also like it. I think it`s "retro cool"
  3. Hi there. I have a `73 240Z with original block and 4speed tranny. I`ve recently started the restoration and replaced everything you could imagine except for the engine and the tranny. I`ve got 45 mm triple Webers, 6 barrel ceramic coated headers, msd electronic ignition, new heavy duty radiator, distributor new manual and electric fuel pumps, brake master cylinder, clutch etc etc. I also replaced the bushings, engine mounts etc. The problem is as you would have guessed is the transmission. I want to replace the stock tranny with a 280Z 5 speed transmission and I want to keep the original engine. My question is, what else should I get with the transmission and what kind of a rear end should I get for better performance? All help is much appreciated and thank you in advance. ERIC P.S.: I`m located near Pasadena, CA. If you have a 5 speed transmission for sale in Los Angeles, Orange County area, I`ll come and pick it up.
  4. If you want camo, you gotta go old skool. ERIC
  5. If I`m not mistaken, some of those "vehicles" are built by SBARRO. ERIC
  6. Wal Mart price of the 1/24 240Z should be the same as most JADA TOYS 1/24 models. Under $15 US. We also made 300ZX, 350Z(With Veilside Kit), 240SX S14, S15, SILVIA, and SKYLINE GTR R32(custom version and Initial D anime version) and R34. Check out the entire line up @ http://www.jadatoys.com and make sure you register to receive our newsletter. Did I mention the 240Z will be available with Watanabe style wheels? ERIC
  7. To answer your prayers: 1/24 and 1/64 Datsun 240Z will be released "early" 2007. That means hopefully in January. A Datsun 510 in 1/64 scale will follow shortly. There will also be hobby versions in different colors. Not every model will come with black hood. There will also be a right hand drive "Fairlady" version hopefully in the future. All models will feature the SR20 engine. Go to http://www.jadatoys.com and register. Afterwards go to downloads area to check out 240Z wallpapers. This model was based on my 1973 240Z except for the engine. But it will be released as a 1972 model. How do I know all this? Well I`m a Jada Toys Designer. If you have questions please ask. I`ll be happy to answer. Thank you ERIC
  8. Skillet. I`ve been doing graphic and industrial design since 1989. Currently I work for JADA Toys (http://www.jadatoys.com). We are going to release a 1/24 240Z diecast model based on my car. I prepared a few wallpapers for the occasion. The ones I posted here were just two of them. Here`s another one. If you have any questions please ask, I`d be happy to answer. ERIC

  11. Glad you liked the picture. That is my `73 Z. I`ve had to photoshop the headlight covers and the fender mount mirrors. Here`s another one: I`ve been looking everywhere for the headlight covers with chrome trim but just can`t find them...Maybe you guys could help me with that. Thanks. ERIC
