  1. 1/18 scale is a possibility. It all depends on the popularity of the 1/24 model of course. ERIC
  2. Disassembly is easy. It takes a few minutes. Careful with mirrors and don`t forget to remove all plastic parts before paint. If you think you will crack the glass, try and mask them before paint instead of removing them. ERIC
  3. I just wanted to let you know that JADA Datsun 240Z is available NOW on eBay!!! It will be available real soon at Hobby stores and everywhere else. For more info please check out the appropriate thread under Vendor`s Forum. I`d like to thank everybody here, all admins ,especially Mikelly, and also 280Zforce Justin for all the help! Thank you very much!!! Enjoy your diecast models and please customize them!!! ERIC Jada Toys
  4. JDM headlight covers with chrome trim... 5 speed tranny...
  5. I tried eBay also Davy...Nothing... ERIC
  6. My daily driver is a `98 Z-28. I`ve been looking for a 3 piece spoiler (not the one in the RS sport appearance package and not the RK Sport one) for a while now...It looks like the 2nd gen Camaro 3 piece spoiler. Can anyone help me find one? Any info/links appreciated... BTW, I tried Camaro forums but I haven`t received much help...I know that most people here also own Camaro`s...I thought it would be worth a try... Thank you very much... Eric
  7. I`d go with 240Z lights You might want to consider taillights like the ones on 280ZForce Justin`s car: ERIC
  8. I think another nice sedan would be a `96 Impala SS. If you can find one with low mileage. ERIC
  9. I`ve been thinking about this for a while and here`s my conclusion: Every man needs 4 vehicles: 1- A very comfortable sedan like a Cadillac or a Mercedes S class to drive to work in traffic or long trips. 2- An affordable yet stylish classic sports car which you can upgrade without spending a lot of money. A Z car or an early fastback Mustang will do. You should work on this car yourself! and you should replace it every year or so with another. A track car is a bonus! 3- An affordable roadster. M roadsters are great but they just cost too much. Maybe a C4 Corvette roadster. 4- A truck. Doesn`t matter what kind/color etc. As long as it`s dependable and carries your #$%& around. And you should keep this truck forever!!! Now, if only I had a 4 car garage. 3 for my cars and 1 for the wife`s car. I`d park the truck outside... So, how many cars do you need??? ERIC
  10. I don`t believe the $6M thing either. Maybe the first proto cost $6M and prototypes usually do cost that much. Fabricating the molds...etc etc. Manufacturing a car will never cost that much. I bet manufacturing an ABRAMS Tank doesn`t cost that much. Anyways. Does anybody here remember the 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer?... ..Yes, I know it was not stock. Still as fast as the Veyron...Maybe faster... ERIC
  11. Thank you for a great site and thank you for all the help to promote the JADA Datsun 240Z! ERIC
  12. Because he`s stupid... ERIC
  13. In the words of Drew Carey: "My eyes won`t focus!" ERIC
  14. There will be 2 versions of Metallic orange Z`s. With or without a black hood. ERIC
  15. Mike is one lucky guy. This is the second JADA 240Z prototype he got. Here`s the bad news. This color might not see production. JADA 240Z has not been released yet but It will be this month. Production models` wheels have been pushed out, this was just a color sample that`s why, corner markers are body color. I sent this to Mike after having seen what color he painted his own ride. Otherwise it would have been destroyed. I don`t like it when diecast samples are destroyed. I`m glad you like it Mike! And I`m sure when the final product is released, you will have lots of spare parts to complete this one. BTW. The color is candy charcoal gray from House Of Kolors in case you were wondering. PS: There`s a chance hobby dealers will get them before major retailers. I recommend this place: http://www.collectablediecast.com Tell`em you got the address from Eric from JADA Check this out also: http://www.collectablediecast.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3453&HS=1 ERIC
  16. Looking good Max... Or, should I call you MAD MAX? Nice job! ERIC
  17. I was checking out 240Z`s on eBay and came across this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STUNNING-240Z-CONFERENCE-BUILT-ENGINE-5-SPD_W0QQitemZ200073416045QQihZ010QQcategoryZ6187QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I`ve never heard of E production class. Also I`ve been thinking about replacing my `73 L24 240Z` stock cam with a performance cam. What other engine work should I do before/after I replace the cam This car has a Schneider cam. Would you recommend it? Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks. ERIC
  18. Glad you`re ok!.. Sorry about your car. ERIC
  19. Ok.... IMSA flares, Roll bars, bulges behind the seats-whatever they call those things- ZG nose(With and without) Anything else? ERIC
  20. I think I should`ve tried it with a ZG instead...Needs the G nose... ERIC
  21. Well excuse me... Hardtop all the way!!!!!!! ERIC
  22. Well, when I started working on the picture, I had high hopes:grin: Anyways...Here`s the blue version with white stripe... ERIC
  23. Honestly speaking, I think hardtop looks much better...But anyways, in case any of you wondered how the S30 roadster with chopped windshield would look like: I really don`t like it very much...It just looks different. ERIC
  24. Mike that`s another idea...Building a 2002 ZL-1 Clone...if I had about $40K and it would cost less than a new Z06...Better start saving money... ERIC
