  1. After reading the Honda Civic Aeromodded Thread on here I went a little search crazy with Aerocar tech. I stumbled upon this. After further examination I'm very impressed and I really like the style of the car. http://www.aptera.com/ What do all of you think??
  2. I had a 240sx Automatic open diff car when I was 17. I absolutely loved it. It was clean and had 84k miles on it. I would buy a 240sx and keep it clean and without a turbo. I'm now 19 and own no car but I feel that regardless of driving skill a 16 yr. old SHOULD NOT have a tricked out turbo'd car. There are too many hormones floating through a teenage body and irrationality consumes us. (me included). My old car. /Whoring
  3. It was a 1 and a half hour search but I finally found the biggest one I could. I really want to print this out too. It's seriously one of the coolest pictures around. http://base.googlehosted.com/base_media?q=hand-2832253034552314835&size=1
  4. I was continuing my search and found some places that will strip the Chassis but haven't been able to locate a company that would actually electroplate a car chassis. I guess I'll keep searching. Here's one of the stripping places, although it's across the country. http://www.finishing.com/64/19.shtml http://www.redistripindy.com/page/auto.html
  5. So I was trying to fall asleep and was thinking about wickiez's restoration, and thought. "Would it be possible to electroplate the entire chassis after an acid bath." I was thinking a light zinc/nickel plating would be a very good preservative. Any opinions on the idea? I think a light coat wouldn't add even as much weight as epoxy sealer and primer. It would probably be extremely expensive.
  6. I have yet to get my 240z. But when I do be assured you won't forget it. I have just been lurking soaking stuff in and planning the whole thing. It should be started in 5-6 months.
  7. Hello all. Just stumbled onto this site. I am an avid fan of Datsun Z's and early nissan cars. Plans are to build up a 240z in some way. Will keep you updated on how everything pans out. Great to be a member of a great forum.
