  1. I think somebody needs to photoshop those onto a z because I think the viennas would look awesome on a wide z.
  2. I wasn't sure what the first year was, but like PETEW said, manufacturers make it a pain for everytone when they update stuff mid model year. Glad everything worked out though.
  3. cygnusx1, Did they try looking up an '01 or '03 for the parts you needed? Sometimes you'll get a late or early car that has the next or previous year's parts on it. I work at Advance and stuff like that happens fairly often unfortunately.
  4. Same here, most of the cops I've dealt with were really cool. Even when they definitely didn't have to be lol
  5. Yea that would be best, but I'm sure it'll definitely cost more then I would want to spend on the appearance of the engine. I think I'm just going to Krylon the valve cover and use some engine enamel on the block itself.
  6. I had the same problem. I set the timing of the distributor as described in the Haynes manual. All you need is a test light if I remember correctly.
  7. I got a set of 350z seats for $150 a couple years ago.
  8. He doesn't mean the car "went over" the edge 10 times, I think he means the car rolled over 10 times when he went of the edge.
  9. I was considering doing the engine block too though. I emailed the TM9 Ordnance company and I'm waiting to hear back about the heat rating. If I can't find anything then I'll do just the valve cover. Supra510, I just clicked the link in you sig to find pictures of your cam cover and immediately recognized your wagon lol. I've seen pictures of it before, (can't remember where tho) it's awesome man. Nice job.
  10. Thanks guys, I think I'm just going to have to look at cans and find one with a temperature rating high enough.
  11. I work at Advance and I know we don't. I'll look around tho.
  12. I looked on google and on here and couldn't find anything, but does anyone know where to get flat olive engine paint? Or at least paint that would hold up on an engine block. It doesn't necessarily have to be made for engines, just something that will work. Im going for something similar to this: http://forums.evolutionm.net/6833149-post195.html Thanks everybody
  13. I've been wanting to do this for a while but wasn't sure about placement. I was thinking maybe along the edge of the headlight bucket, but this looks awesome. Great job.
  14. Lol, I think thats actually the first time I've seen one of those from the rear. I've always seen the tiny little grill in the center, front view lol. Thanks
  15. Awesome.I have yet to see this car in person lol.
  16. Maybe a dumb question but what kind of car is the red and black one? It looks amazing. Thanks
  17. I'll be there. I meant to go to the last meeting but wasn't able to. And I'll try to bring as many parts as I can also.
  18. It looks like OTM's last activity was August '08 fyi.
  19. They were both practiced. Lol he even named the first one "Ken Block Gymkhana Practice". And there's no way you could do something as elaborate as the 2nd one all on the first take. Either way though, they were both awesome IMO
  20. hmmm... anyone ever swap an Abrams engine into their z? haha
  21. Yea, a sexy audi to be exact haha. But yea, if you look closely you can see a couple different badges that disappear and reappear randomly.
  22. I know for sure that the 7 series in the 1st one was a manual because they had to convert it to manual because the 7 series was only offered in auto. I'm not sure about the later ones though.
