  1. Which parts do you need? Sometime this summer I'll have a good P90 head, stock turbo, stock fuel rail and injectors, ECU, intake mani, downpipe, etc.
  2. I bought a Valejo clutch and PP of fleabay for $65, it was 240mm and it works great.
  3. Yeah, ask him to measure the widest point at the back. 20" is a fair amount, you should be ok, but best to make sure. And I'm asking $200 for those Integra seats if you're still interested. Email me at markham@patch-marketing.com and I'll send you some pics. They're located in Bakersfield, CA.
  4. I'll PM you pics tomorrow...on vaction this week and using by bro in law's computer.
  5. Ask the guy for measurements at the back of the seat. You've got around 20" in the seatwell of a 240, but only 17.5" in a 280. Ask me how I know....set of Integra seats sitting in my bedroom that a member had in a 240, won't fit my 280. Measure before you buy.
  6. I'd echo Matt and Wigenout. Mine has inlet and outlet on the same side. Does it work? No detonation, but I really don't know enough about intercoolers to tell you. Service was great and can't beat the price. Hope this helps.
  7. Hey Kirby, thanks for the offer. I will probably take you up on that. Bo tuned the car pretty well for the current set up and I hope to play with it a bit and at least get a workig knowledge of tuning. What I'm worried about is when we get all the other stuff installed that I mentioned above (Rebello head, T3/T4 etc). Then I'm way beyond stock and that makes me VERY nervous. Can you PM me a cell # or email addy? We should be back up and running by mid-July and if I run into problems I'll give you a shout. And thanks again for your help. As I've discovered, Z owners are a very generous bunch and my car wouldn't be where it is today without the help of others.
  8. Sorry to hear about you car, that just sucks. I spend a lot of time in socal on business, driving my Z and I'm convinced the only thing that keeps it from getting stolen is my crappy Rustoleum paint job. I've seen several posts by members who say that every time they get their car finished and painted up nice, some a**hole steals it. But at gunpoint? Man, that scares the crap out of me. Glad you're all right. I agree, hope your cop buddies catch the creep....
  9. Thanks Brian. Holy crap, my Rustoleum paint job doesn't look half bad from that distance!! LOL Man, I have got to do something about that suspension...yoiks.
  10. I disagree with woldson big time on this issue, but you asked for advice, not a flamethrower, so we'll leave those comments for another day. LOL I'm adopted. Was I adopted into a happy, healthy family? No. On the other hand, I could have been aborted, placed in abusive foster homes, etc. Would I have preferred to be adopted by a family like yours. Damn straight. You are to be congratulated for for considering adoption. I hope you do it. Heck, take two while you're at it. The world needs more people like you and your wife, willing to take on the most important responsibility of all, raising a child. My only caution is that you be realistic in your financial and personal ability to raise one more child. Two is plenty for any couple, three is a handful. My wife and I discussed adoption and rejected it for that reason. We're now in our mid to late forties and were happy to see the kids leave home and start new lives. For us, parenting into our late 50s/early 60s was not attractive. But if you and your wife are willing, have at it I say.
  11. Bo, I said it before and I'll say it again...that's a nice tire and rim combo. I really like the stance. You've convinced me to switch over to 16". Very well done, my friend.
  12. True, but I'm so far into it now I may as well keep spending my kids' inheritance. In the best of all possible worlds, as I take my last breath the cheque for a bigger turbo or wider tires will bounce....
  13. i confess I didn't put much effort into the prep. I like these vents http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7BSA03/30-7090 so gonna install them asap and get rid of the stockers. We'll see how the new ones look in Rustoleum...:0)
  14. Ordered the pump today, with the installation kit and shipping it's $130. Not bad. Any tips on an FPR? They were out of stock, so I'll probably pick one up here in Calgary.
  15. Thanks janaka, but I can get a new one from LA for $119 and free shipping to Bakersfield, where I have a residence. If you want to beat that price I'd be happy to do business, otherwise thanks for the offer.
  16. Thanks for the advice Bo. I'm glad I posted this question. The guy at InlineMotors was prepared to sell me a model I suspect would not have worked as well.
  17. The next shipment of books arrives Wednesday from the printer, as soon as I get them, one is one its way to Ontario!
  18. Jerry, that part of the web site gets flaky once in a while...for a while it would enter Afghanistan...LOL I'll check the order and make sure everything is ok. If I have any questions I'll PM you. And thanks for the support, hope you enjoy the book!!
  19. Hey Jerry. You can order the novel from the web site. Every book is signed and has it owns serial #. You can download the first chapter from the web site if you want to check out the quality of the writing etc. C'mon over to the dark side!! TonyD read it and now claims he needs 6 months of psychotherapy!!
  20. Hey guys. Well, I published my first novel. It's about a murder in northern Canada and the RCMP sends Inspector Rensby to solve the crime. Readers say it's a guy's book...plenty of beer drinking, hockey violence, skirt chasing...and the primordial beast that rules all men. There's also, sort of, a Z connection: on my web site I posted an essay follow up to the novel entitled "The Beast, the Civilized Man and the Sports Car"...I use my 280z as a metaphor for personal re-engineering. You can check out the book at www.markhamhislop.com. The novel shipped is $23 in Canada and $27 in the USA. Email for international prices. And in the next novel...the heroine autox races a highly modified 240z and the car figures prominently in the story. It's called Maggie's Farm and will be on sale late 2008/early 2009. Support the literary efforts of a Z car fan...I need the cash to finish building my car!! LOL
  21. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for the info.
  22. kenshinx, can I reach you on the phone # in your ebay ad?
  23. Hey guys. I'm buying a Walbro pump from Inline Motors in LA and they are trying to figure out the model to sell me. Want to make sure it's right, returns from Canada and all that.... They are suggesting a 255 lph @ 70 psi. There are two models GSS341 or GSS 342. Anyone know which one is correct for my car?
  24. Sprayed it with black plastic paint last fall, looked great for a couple of months. Now the paint is peeling off. Screw it, just gonna get MSA vents and replace the stock ones.
  25. Don't worry, Bo, you WILL live to regret that invitation. Just ask Jim. LOL That red wire to the fuel pump relay makes him twitch every time he sees it. he's coming over tonight for a bbq with his wife and I would bet good money he'll HAVE to head out to the garage and do something about that wire. hahaha One of the reasons I considered a tuner is because I thought they were expert technicians. My conversations with 2 or 3 changed that opinion in a hurry. At least when it comes to Wolf and L28s. In fairness to them, Calgary is full of Vettes, Porsches, Bimmers, etc and that's where these guys make their living. None of them had heard of Wolf...except for one guy, who thought it was JWT. LOL Anyhoo, since taking the car to a tuning shop is out of the question, then I guess I am the tuner. Better roll up my sleeves and get at it. :0)
