  1. You mean the camber plates? Yeah they are made for the Z, but I think the way the top strut tower was designed there is not much room. All the camber adjustable plates that I have seen have been weld on. There used to be a write up on arizonazcar.com, but not sure if it is still there, check it out.
  2. They are awsome, I have been buying AE86 parts from them for years without a problem.
  3. Hi, I am planning to do a sr20det swap in my 260z. If I go standalone ecu will I need all the cam angle sensor, ignitor chip, or maf? I am just trying to figure out what I need, so I don't spend more $$ than I have to. Thanks

    Msa Lsd?

Did a search but did not find anything. I see that MSA has a limited slip diff for both the R180 and the R200. Has anyone used these? If you have what is your opinion? Is this better than trying to find a stock R200 lsd and doing a conversion? Thanks, jkgts1
  5. I plan on doing a sr20det swap into my 74 260z, but am alittle concerned with the fuel tank. First can I use the stock fuel tank? I assuming there are no baffles, so would using a surge tank slove this problem? Second, is it an option to use a fuel tank from say a 280z (FI), would this resolve the issue? Oh yeah and can that vapor tank be eliminated? Thanks, jkgts1
  6. I think I posted this up in the past but here it is again. Thanks
  7. Hi, I am curious if it is ok to have my body straightened when the car is stripped down to just a rolling chassis? Basically the engine and all the interior is out but still have all the suspension in. I started taking the car apart and noticed the there is some damage behind the front wheel well, I am not even sure if the car needs straightening. When I bought the car it drove fine and did not seem to go down the road sideways. But if it does need straightening should it be ok to do as is? Thanks, jkgts1
  8. Is there some kind of write up on swapping a later model motor(EFI) into a 240z or 260z? I've done searches but have not seen what I am looking for. This is my first time I am going to ATTEMPT to swap an engine on my own, and I'm just looking for some guidence. I'm most interesed in the wiring. I know I need ecu, harness, and sensors from the donor car. Can anyone point me to some good references? Thanks, jkgts1
  9. Thanks for the advice. When I have a chance I'll check those things.
  10. I'm pretty sure the car was hit in the front driver corner, and that just happened to be the spot that absorbed the hit. I could just pound it out but I'm worried about it not being straight. Am I being overly concerned? jkgts1
  11. Just recently bought a z and found this wrinkle in the body. I'm guessing just take it to the frame shop? Thanks, jkgts1
  12. Hey guys I am having a little problem. I have a 260z and I am getting ready to pull the motor, but cannot find a front hook/mount to attach the chain. Where is a good secure spot that I can use? Thanks
  13. Thanks, I'll check it out and see.
  14. I read the post about differential identification, but am still a little confused. According to the article/post a 76 280Z with a 5spd should have a long nose R200, and a 74 260Z 4spd should have a R180, correct? Then I read in a book that all manual 240,260 and 280Zs have the R200 and the automatics have the R180. I just want to be sure what I have. I want to swap out the R200 from the 76 280Z to replace the R180 that I have in my 74 260Z. Is this correct? Thanks, jkgts1
